Description of Work: The product was great and the installation very high quality. My respect for Lowes has significantly increased. Very easy to deal with start to finish.

Description of Work: Installed 14 replacement windows. We needed new windows due to several of them leaking, but also wanted to replace with energy star windows. Lowes had just what we needed. We got quotes from 2 other window companies and Lowes price was so much better that we could afford to purchase 14 windows instead of 9 for less money. Chip the salesman and Jerry and his installation crew could not have done a better job.They were very professional and did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. We could not be more pleased.

Description of Work: We were replacing counter tops. The new counter tops came from Lowe's who sent a contractor out to measure for the new countertops. First of all the contractor was late arriving. Then when the counter tops came in the one for the sink was too short. The contractor for Lowe's did admit it was his fault. However, that didn't help the fact that we were waiting on the countertops to be installed before we could start the rest of the renovation. We had also bought a new stainless sink and faucet from Lowe's which the contractor also installed. The faucet was a Delta Touch 2-O. He did a good job installing the sink and faucet even though we knew he'd have to take them out when the new replacement countertop came. We finally had to call Lowe's to find out when the new countertop would be delivered. The same contractor came to install the replacement counter top and he was three hours late! Fortunately, our regular contractor was also here because he kept an eye on the Lowe's contractor to make sure everything was installed correctly. When the new countertop was installed the seam where it was joined to the other new countertop was done very well. Not sure if would have been so good if our contractor had not been here. Finally, when the Lowe's contractor reinstalled the sink and faucet, he was in such a hurry to get out of here (it was 7:30PM) that he installed the new faucet incorrectly. Our contractor had to fix it and he'd never installed this type of faucet before. The incorrect countertop is still in our garage and has been for over a week. The contractor was to come back and get it. We've called Lowe's to have someone come get it. They said they will be there on Sunday (Mother's Day) and will call us two (2) hours before they come. Long story short, I have torn up my Lowe's card! The service we received from the sales people was mediocre at best and none responsive. The contractor was unprofessional. No, I would not recommend Lowe's installation services or using them for kitchen upgrades to cabinets or countertops.
