They are very dependable and honest. They get the job done correctly. We went with them off of a recommendation from a friend.

Have used Larry's Heat and Air in the past so called them again when our upstairs unit wasn't heating properly. This time, instead of getting Larry, Bob answered the phone and came out that afternoon. He checked the unit, found the part that he suspected was the cause of the problem. He only had a generic replacement with him so he tried that but it didn't work in our unit. So he put the original back after cleaning it out and the unit started working. He explained what he did, said it might have had some dirt or other blockage in it, and only charged for labor. But he cautioned that since the part had caused problems once, it might again and to give him a call if it did and he would replace it with one designed for my unit and figure out what to do about the labor. Two days later the unit quit heating again. This time Allen came out, again afternoon on the same day I called. By the time he arrived the unit was once again working. He checked everything, even explained what everything in it does, and said he couldn't find a problem. He called Bob and conferred and we agreed to go ahead and replace the part that had malfunctioned last time. This time they charged for the part only, no labor charges. The unit has been working fine since the repair. I very much appreciated Bob and Allen's honesty and professionalism. They were able to get the unit working again for a problem that was intermittent and difficult to troubleshoot. Will call them again.

I had used them a year prior when my system was going out. They came out immediately. He was very professional. He fixed a little part and said I didn't need to replace the compressor. So when it went out this year, Larry came out and said my compressor was broken and needed to replaced.

I'd recommend them to anyone, they are wonderful. It was a Sunday and they came back within a half a day. They only charged me for a service charge and they were here for over an hour. A circuit went bad in the attic so he was up there. They were out here one other time in the miserable dead of winter and they were there the same day and got my problem fixed. They are a wonderful company.

Problem was located quickly and repair completed. Upon my request, checked the other HVAC unit. Price was very reasonable - I was pleased with the whole experience.

I feel as if I have been completely duped. *PLEASE NOTE: Bob recently bought this company from Larry.* Bob arrived very quickly when I called about my air conditioner that was not cooling properly. He was efficient, extremely pleasant, let the unit thaw out, returned late that day (after 6:00 pm), cleaned my outdoor AC twice, and added freon. In our conversation he happened to mention to me that other AC/Heating repair-persons sometimes sabotage units in order to return to make more money. He charged me $135 and I was very happy.The air conditioning was great, HOWEVER, within *minutes* of him leaving my home, my heating did not work *at all*. I had had *no* problems with it and it had been working well the night before. Bob had had no reason to do anything to my furnace (since it is not directly connected to my AC unit), however, he did have access to it. When I called to ask him if he might know what happened, he arrived quickly, replaced a $225 Fast Start Valve (I should have asked for it to determine if it was indeed damaged) and charged me $440. When I mentioned it was quite a coincidence that the furnace had stopped working the very day that he worked on my AC, he said, "Yes, coincidences do happen." I am to blame for calling him the second time and for not demanding the old valve in order to see if it was, indeed, damaged. PLEASE JUDGE FOR *YOURSELF* AS TO WHETHER YOU WANT BOB WORKING ON YOUR AC/HEATING.

My heat was not working so I checked Angie's list to see who had the best ratings on price and service. I called this company to see what their rates were and to see if they were available today. They were available. They gave me an approximate time and then called again when they were on their way. They diagnosed the problem promptly, which ended up being a wire disconnected from the thermostat. They even mounted the thermostat with new anchors so it wouldn't wiggle. They were very polite. They made sure the unit was working properly. So in the end it took less than 30 minutes for them to fix the problem, which was covered in their service call price.

Bob, one of Larry's associates, did the work at my house. I called this company to get a second opinion on an AC unit that wasn't cooling, which a tech from the first company (which will remain nameless) said might need complete replacement. Bob discovered some "repairs" that had been made to the unit, which appeared to have been designed to fail in short order (which they did). None of the repairs recommended by the first company were necessary, and Bob fixed the unit right, performed some preventive maintenance on it without my asking, explained everything he had done, and changed what I thought might be a $2000 repair into a $210 service call. Well, $230...I insisted on tipping. I have used them one more time since that incident (on a separate AC unit), and they did first rate work on that one, too. I recommend them without reservation.

Great! Larry came out to do my annual inspection and maintenance on my heating and A/C system. He checked the heat pump; it tested O.K. When he cleaned the coils on the house blower, he found the drain pan was rusted out and leaking. It was made all one piece with the coils, so he had to make a new drain pan by hand to install under the rusted drain pan, and re-plumb the drain line to it. I was very satisfied with both the price and the level of service and expertise.

He came out right away. We had used them before when the motor went out, and the people who lived here before we bought the house also used Larry. He even came later at night. I was very impressed with his responsiveness.

I returned home Wednesday to an 87 degree house and discovered hot air blowing out of my vents. My family has used Larry for years so I called to make an appointment. He personally called me back to tell me he'd try and squeeze me in the next day, but with the rain, it might not be til Friday. In the meantime, I called a a few other places but all wanted to charge me a fee for just the service call. I declined and waited for Larry. With a cooler Thursday and Friday, waiting wasn't an issue, plus I prefered waiting for someone I trusted to do the work. I was his last stop on Friday, he got to my unit right before the sun went down. He deduced the motor had gone bad and repaired it. It took about an hour, by the time he finished the sun was completely gone, so he finished it by flashlight. My family has used Larry for over 20 years, once you get on his rotation, he'll call you to make appointments to service the unit. He's a great guy, very professional and would recommend him to anyone.

My old heat and air conditioner unit (from 1984) completely died in the middle of February. I called Larry and the next day he was out to check on it. He gave me the option to try to fix the damaged parts which wouldn't last long or to replace the unit. I felt no pressure either way. He left the decision completely up to me. I chose to replace it and he gave me a very fair price and the next day, he and his men were there to replace it! He even updated some of my duct work to accommodate the new unit with no extra charge. Every one was nice and professional and they do quality work. The unit is excellent and very efficient. My electric bill has decreased dramatically! I would definitely recommend Larry to anyone who needs heat and air work done!

Every thing went very well. The workmen were very nice and did a great job. I don't feel like I was over charged at all. I have a very hard to pronounce name and they even went to the trouble to pronounce it correctly. I was very impressed with everyone.

I was quite satisfied with the work that Larry's performed. They were very nice and did the work very quickly. I would recommend them and will use them again if needed.
