They did a good job of leveling the ground and putting our pool up. But, they just put the filter and pump on the ground and the ground was eroding and the pump was tilting. So, I had to buy some sand and put some blocks on. I don't understand why they did not use the blocks that I had laying out there for them. Other than that, they did a good job.

We feel KSO Installation exemplifies professionalism. From beginning to end, Scott made it clear customer satisfaction was of the utmost importance, and clearly demonstrated his desire to get the job done right. We have already made plans to use KSO Installation's services again, for major projects around our home; projects we previously dismissed due to our poor experiences with past contractors.
Description of Work: Six years ago, we had an in-ground pool installed in our backyard by a company that will remain nameless. Since doing so, we have had 3 vinyl liners installed due to excessive liner floating. The original install company explained away the liner floating being caused by ground water, and refused to do anything about it. Scott, from KSO Installation (one of only a few contractors in the Chattanooga area certified in the installation of in-ground pools), met with us regarding our ongoing battle with ground water. Following the water wicking concept used with house foundations, Scott installed two sump pumps at each end of our pool. Dug out a "trench" around the bottom of our pool, leading to the sump pumps, and filled them with gravel. This provided a path for any ground water to follow, and to be immediately be pumped out away from the pool. Once the pool bottom was refinished, and a new liner installed, Scott pressure tested all of the lines, and discovered a leak in the return lines coming from the filter/pump system. Working exactly as they were intended, the sump pumps immediately pumped the water coming from the leak away from the new liner. Scott, and his crew went on to repair the leak in the return lines (which was the result of poor workmanship by the original installer) and we are FINALLY blessed with a pool that is now a source of pleasure and relaxation, rather than a source of stress.
