Roger was very professional, answered all my questions promptly and I chose him for that reason plus his background. He arrived early and we had to wait to get in the house but he did what he could outside while we waited. He checked everything thoroughly, went under the house in the crawl space, up in the attic, everywhere. The inspection took about 4.5 hours and I received a complete report that evening. The report was detailed and professionally written. I would highly recommend Roger, it was a pleasure to work with him and he provided excellent service. I would absolutely call him again if I need another inspection.

Roger was knowledgeable and professional. Since I was purchasing a duplex (that I'd been renting for a few years) the fee was slightly higher than a single-family dwelling inspection. Scheduling, payment, and report delivery went smoothly through his website, and both the seller and I were pleased with the thoroughness of his report. Even though I thought I was aware of most of the issues with my side of the unit, he gave both sides equal time and found a few issues I hadn't been aware of. There were a few areas I was especially concerned about which he was quite willing to accommodate spending extra time on.

Roger was punctual, professional and extremely thorough... He found numerous issues that would have cost a fortune to correct and we were able to use our termination clause and find a new house to purchase with no issues... On the surface, the home was picture-perfect. Beneath the surface, many issues existed. As first-time home buyers, we needed a lot of help and advice. I actually came out of our experience with Roger feeling like he had provided the same level of service he would provide to his family... I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Roger to anyone who is purchasing a home that may have (hidden) issues...

From the beginning I could tell that Roger was top notch! After my initial phone call to setup an inspection Roger confirmed the inspection date, time, what to expect, and other important information in a professionally presented e-mail document. Upon inspection day he was prompt and ready to perform the inspection. I stayed briefly during the inspection to ask some questions which Roger answered without hesitation and with knowledgeable responses, I then left him alone to do his thing. The following day I received another professionally presented e-mail with the home inspection report attached. I have experienced a number of home inspections prior to this one, and must say that Rogers inspection report was by far the most professional and thorough I have ever seen. The well organized report was presented in a way that made it easy to understand, along with a clear explanation of how to read it.The report results were extensive, concise, and documented with photographs of all the problem areas, along with recommended solutions. I read the report, and called Roger the next day with more questions concerning the property, which he again answered professionally and without hesitation. It was Rogers report that was the key to my decision making process for the property in question, and I would highly recommend him, and will myself be using him on my next home inspection. Roger is punctual. He might be called a nitpicker - which is what you want in a home inspector. He spent over 4 hours in the house a lot of things both large and small. When he found a gas furnace in a bedroom (not allowed) he called my attention to it and notified the current owner by phone to what was a life threatening situation. The only reason someone hadn't died in the house from Carbon Dioxide poisoning is that the closet where the furnace was kept had holes to the attic thus making it extremely drafty and causing most of the CO2 to get mixed and dissipated to the attic. Roger protected us from a potentially fatal situation. THANK YOU ROGER! We terminated the offer immediately. You can bet we'll see the next house we make an offer on. He's great.

I had signed an agreement to purchase a home and fortunately included an Inspection Contingency Clause. I have an untrained-eye and in no way consider myself an expert or even capable inspector of housing and its sub-systems. I thought the house might need a couple of thousand dollars worth of repairs and upgrades before moving in. Roger was on-time, professional and extremely thorough. I was allowed to ask questions at any time and he explained how many things worked. He allows 4 hours for each inspection and makes only 2 appointments per day. Because of his thoroughness, expertise, and concern for doing a great job, I left after 4 hours while he continued to upload photos and write his report when I left! The bottom line is that the estimated repair/replacement costs were about $40,000 and an additional $20,000 necessary within two years. Because of his report, I was able to exercise the termination clause, get out of the agreement, and get my earnest money back. I strongly suggest you hire HomePro Inspection Inc and will do so again when I finally find a house. Roger Williamson is the Best inspector I have had the opportunity to work with in my 15 years as a Realtor. Roger Williamson did our home, he was very proffesional and willing to answer all our questions. Mr. Williamson explained things as he went along. When the inspection was over he took the time to explain all his findings to us as well emailing us a complete report with pictures for our records. If we are in the market for another house he would be our choice and we would recommend him to any of our friends.

Once the appointment was made, they came out and looked at the place and there were issues with the house and there were some issues where they couldn't get access to parts of the house because of it so we had to contact the older and they came out and gave him better access, additionally, with no extra charge and I felt they did a great job doing the inspection and then they also provide like a nice notebook that's got information about their company, information about what they are doing, a whole DVD with like home repair kits and stuff on it, you can watch the videos for home repair and as well as some written list inside as well and then the explanation of simple warranty things. They are very personable.

It was very easy to schedule the inspection. I called as I had a tight schedule which limited my window to be at the house during the inspection. He was able to fit me in the next day. He does have online appointment scheduling as well. I arrived after the inspection had started, but he greeted me and pointed out a few of the issues he had already discovered. I generally left him to the inspection, but he gladly answered any questions I had about the house as he inspected. Other than being longer than expected, which I did not mind, the inspection proceeded as he had described in our initial conversation. He was very professional throughout the process. I would recommend Roger Williamson to anyone needed a home inspection in the Chattanooga area.

He checked everything out from roof to crawl space - found a few problem areas which we were able to have the seller's fix. We move in next week, so if we find anything he missed, we'll let you know! :) Good report with pictures. Likable guy.

I scheduled our appointment on the company's website after looking over their reports on Angie's List. I was able to pay online and sign all forms online as well. I got an immediate confirmation of our appointment. We had originally scheduled the inspection for Friday, but the home seller had to have the sewer line to the house replaced so the inspection had to be postponed. Roger was very cooperative and worked with us on rescheduling. There were further delays on getting the sewer line fixed, and they only got the water turned back on to the house about 45 mins before he was supposed to be finished with the inspection. But he stayed a little later and checked the plumbing.

It went really well. He was a great inspector. They were really knowledgeable. We would use them again.

I contacted and scheduled the home inspection with Roger 100% online through his website. The site was easy to use, navigate, and find what I was looking for. The pricing was upfront and very clear which I found very helpful. We received an agreement in advance of the work to be performed so that we would be clear on expectation. He included references to the standards that he adheres to as an inspection, national and State affiliations, etc. Roger arrived on time to perform the inspection and greeted me. It was a pretty cold Saturday but I was ready as Roger was upfront when advising how long to expect the inspection to take. He appeared professional with all applicable tools necessary to perform the task. As we were going through the house he was documenting the issues that we should address with the builder. He was great about passing on additional knowledge that went beyond task A and B. He would give additional details about why this or that was important. He also set the proper expectation as to what is typical construction and if the issue would be a deal breaker. He's very up to date on city and county building codes and very detail oriented. Roger did not mind that I walked through the inspection with him asking questions along the way. I was able to pay with a credit card at the time and received a receipt when I requested one. The report that Roger provided was clear, detailed, included pictures when necessary and was provided within hours of the completed inspection. I would certainly use him again!

Roger Williamson, the inspector showed up on time and spent about 5 hours going over every inch of the house. He went from the top of the roof to crawling under the house. He was very professional and explained in detail the problems with the house and what was needed to correct them. He took pictures of everything(problems) and before he left, he handed me the complete inspection in a binder. I was very please with the cost. He did charge about $50.00 more but he traveled about 80 miles(160 miles round trip) further than the area he normally worked. All in all, a wonderful experience.
