Higher Ground of Chattanooga

Had them come and give me a bid for Seamless Gutters. Their expertise and thoroughness of addressing my needs and ensuring that everything was covered was Outstanding. I had LOT's of questions and Higher Ground answered them all and made me feel like they were glad to. Easy to talk to and very customer orientated. I had several other companies come and give me bids also. I felt like their salesman were not as knowledge and just wanted to sell me the job. Went with Higher Ground and SO HAPPY I DID. They kept me informed EVERY step of the way. Showed up when they scheduled and performed EXCELLENT work. I was so impressed with the job, from start to finish. I would VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIGHER GROUND and will use them again for any future projects.

The crew arrived on time each day. They were pleasant and worked hard. Cleaned up after the work was finished. They were meticulous in making sure the job was done right.

Even after the explanation by Beckett of the work to be performed at the estimate appointment, Justin came back down to explain the work that was to be performed after looking at the location. Thought the cost was very reasonable considering the time Justin spent up there and the quality of materials used.

The work was performed a week earlier than scheduled. It seems that some of the sticks and debris that was on the roof was tossed wherever into the yard however, anything that was in the gutters was disposed of. While the drought has reduced the amount of rainfall, the few times that it has rained, water was flowed through the gutters as it should.

Punctual, fast, thorough. Everything was done clean and tidy. They called before & after the job - maintained good communication at all times.

The guys came out when they were supposed to. They dug all the trenches by hand, replaced the sod and cleaned up really well around the house. They put 4 drain lines in mine and my neighbors yard from the front gutters on our house out to the road. This has helped to move a lot of rainwater that was building up between our houses during the torrential rains we've been getting. Beckett came out and did an estimate and a couple weeks later the work got completed and looks great. They also reformed some of the dirt around my crawlspace to ensure water was moving away from the crawlspace opening. This company has really been a pleasure to work with now on multiple occasions. They did some smaller repair work on my gutters about a month prior to this. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Higher Ground for gutter/drainage work.

Went out of his way to do this on a Sunday so it was finished for me before Thanksgiving. I have a lot of trees around my house so cleaning the gutters, solo, was no small feat. I added to the Gutter Cleaning price on Angies to have all of my windows, exterior only, cleaned. I have 17 windows so $120 to do this was great. Thank you for the great service!

Ok as far as they went, but they did not clean the gutters in the highest parts of the roof

Problem: Water standing in the crawlspace of my home Mr.. Honecker responded in a timely and professional manner to my request for possible service. I stated the problem and he examined the perimeter of the house and provided a solution along with an estimate to do the job. He was to install a 4 inch drain line to run from rear middle downspout around the corner of the house where it would pick-up the downspout on the corner and run to the edged mulch bed. A 6 inch trench filled with decorative river rock was to be installed on the outside of the edging to disperse water from the drain line. Approximately 2 tons of top soil was was to be installed to grade the back yard away from the house. Additionally, a 6 inch trench was to be installed behind the retaining wall toward the North. Finally, a splash guard was to be installed on the lowest middle gutter in the rear. After they finished, the job was checked and it did not match the job description of what was to be done. Mud and dirt were left over the yard and in the street. Of all the proposed work to be done the only part completed to satisfaction was the gutter repair. I called and Beckett came out 2 days later and visibly saw the incomplete and messy work. He apologized and attributed the unacceptable work to the workers being young. He proceeded to clean parts of the yard and the street in front of my home as well as add a little depth to the trenches. The trenches were not dug as specified in the proposal. I made additional contact with Beckett when there was no change in the initial problem they were to correct. He said they could do something different to correct it for additional funds. He gave the additional amount but I don't want to misquote without referring back to documents. Of course I did not follow through with that proposal. The problem with the water in the crawlspace was not corrected in the least. Infact, the job attempted did not represent a professional business. I am totally disappointed knowing I paid $1,085.00 and got no results. The reviews on Angies List drew me to this provider.

I called Higher Ground around 11:30 am on a Monday. My call was answered, information taken, and I was told I would get a call back "before lunch" to give me a quote based on a google maps look of my home. Within 30 minutes I received a call back and was told that it would cost $120 to clean the gutters and clean up after themselves. They were even able to come the same afternoon. I didn't call anywhere else to see if this was fair estimate (Our gutters haven't been cleaned in several years and our house is tall and has a very steep roof + we have a baby due in a week so it sounded like a great deal to me). I received a phone call about 10 minutes before the guys arrive. They were great with my dog, professional, nice. They were done within an hour (give or take). Totally cleaned up around the house for any debris that fell during the cleaning. After it was all said and done I had the option to pay with a check or to pay on their website. I was also given a gutter guard quote within minutes of the request. I would use Higher Ground again and will recommend them to friends.

Picking up from above, they provided fair price & friendly service to clean our gutters. I also mentioned a bad squirrel problem we had. The entry near roof had been fixed once, but they ate a hole again. They permanently fixed the problem at fair price. We could sleep again! They didn't have to help us w/ this as gutter company, but they gladly helped.

On time, professional in all respects, worked around my schedule.

Beckett is very reliable He calls weeks in advance to schedule & then again a few days before service. His team is polite, on time & very thorough. They leave my property pristine!

I have used them to repair gutter pipes and to manage poor gutter installation by another company. They saved me thousands of dollars, while another company wanted to rip out and redo (on my time) The best in town.

Communication was great, they responded quickly and were able to do the work the same week. I wasn't home when they cleaned the gutters, but that was not a problem for them. They left the paperwork in my front door and asked that I mail the voucher to them. Couldn't ask for an easier transaction.

We were very impressed with Higher Ground. The phone estimate was accurate and the team that came to do the work arrived on time and was very professional. They spent quite some time on the roof as our gutters hadn't been cleaned in a long while and needed a lot of attention. The price included gutter cleaning of a two story house and a very steep cupola (which required rope work) and removal of all the debris generated. They even swept off the back deck. I was also able to get an estimate for future work to be done at the same time. I will definitely use Higher Ground in the future.

Went great. Our house is on a sloped hill, and it is a long way from the ground to the roof in the back yard. They arrived within the stated window and had the gutters clean soon after. We have wire gutter guards, and the removed and reinstalled the guards. We plan to use the in the future.

I would use them in the future without any hesitation! The price was fair, employees were polite and friendly, and their work was thorough. I'm very pleased with the end result. Price was for only Chattanooga city limits and would be higher cost to fulfill contract.

They did a very neat job of cleaning the gutter guards, the roof, and everything that fell to the deck and ground. Cleaning the gutter guards proved to be more than a simple problem but they returned later and had the solution that worked. The gutter guards are now completely clean and working.

Beckett has been very responsive every time I've called. He has been able to fit us into his schedule and worked around mine. The nice thing is I don't have to be home when they come to clean the gutters. I will definitely be calling for another visit soon! Thanks for being dependable.
