+ -1 moreMy experience with Hamilton Fence was fantastic! Mark came out the same afternoon I called to give me a quote. Just for piece of mind I got 2 quotes - hands down it was Hamilton Fence. My yard is large, wooded and sloped. After getting the initial quote I changed a bit of the fence layout and then the gas line changed the layout a second time. Hamilton Fence rolled with it! In the end some clearing of the yard was necessary, as well as the felling of a dead tree, but Hamilton Fence stuck with their original quote since the fence ended up being slightly smaller than originally planned. I felt like I got the better end of the deal!! I was told the job would take 2 days ... the installation of the posts on day 1 I am sure took longer than anticipated, but the guys were back day 2 and despite rain and weather warnings finished that night! I LOVE this fence! Mark was prompt, courteous, professional and extremely fair. The install team (which included Mark) were hardworking, diligent, nice guys. Even though they were working past dusk on day 2, they still made sure everyting was perfect. Highly recommend this company!

+ -1 moreI called and Mark Keylon came out within a couple of days and gave me an estimate after we walked the area and discussed what I wanted. After I accepted the estimate, he came out the next day and installed the posts and the fencing the day after that. The job went incredibly quickly and he did just what I envisioned. He called to check with me on adjustments to the layout when he encountered snags and his expertise was evident. I am very happy with the new fence.

+ -1 moreWent smashingly - called about an estimate, and Mark came out the next business day. Two days later the gas company came and marked up the lawn (as necessary), and the day after, the Hamilton Fence guys showed up and began the work. A whole lot of sudden, heavy rain caused a little delay - but they came back the next day, first thing in the morning, and finished the job. Reasonable price, spot-on estimate, quick work.
Description of Work: Repaired and restored a fence, finishing it off around the back and side of the house.

+ -1 moreInitial call was on a Saturday morning. Installer was able to visit and provide quote by the end of that day. Very nice, courteous throughout all dealings. I signed the agreement on the spot since their quote was almost $400. Lower than another quote that didn't even include the existing fence repair. We were very excited. We were told that we should expect a call to arrange install on Tuesday. We got the call as promised on Tuesday. They came on Tuesday and concreted all the posts. On Wednesday they arrived and completed the job. All was exactly as expected. Quality of work was exceptional. Very friendly. Very fast time (I think) from initial call to completion. Additionally, Mark (the main guy) wouldn't take any payment until we were completely satisfied after the job was done. I had read some reviews of other installers that required half payment up front, so I thought this was awesome that they stood by the quality of their work enough to not take any money until the job was done and the customer was satisfied. I would very highly reccoment this company to anyone needing a fence. They are very competitively priced, nice, on-time, perform quality work, and take full payment after the job. We could not be more happy. Very easy process.
Description of Work: 150 ft of 4 ft chain link fence installed plus repair of 3 damaged areas of existing chain link fence plus install of 2 new 12 ft double extending gates.

Mr. Keylon and his partners arrived Wednesday morning, rang the doorbell, introduced themselves, and started working; and work they did; diligently and methodically removing the existing fence sections and posts, stacking them neatly for removal from our property. There was absolutely no idle time; they worked with noticeable precision and direction every single day that they were here. Obviously, the three of them are friends because of the friendly ribbing and banter between them as they worked. My wife was working in the yard at the same time and said that it was a pleasure to have them working here. They were very respectful and congenial men, as well as very capable. There was no question as to whether they knew what they were doing. It was very impressive watching them. We are more than pleased and highly recommend Hamilton Fence.
Description of Work: Mr. Mark Keylon came to the house within a day of being contacted. He guided our discussion to help us determine specific details regarding our desires for the replacement fence. We discussed what we liked about the old fence (20 years old) and what we would like to change: gate widths, design, width of sections, and decorative finial, and gate latches. He measured the existing fence and gave us an estimate the next day.Mr. Keylon and his co-workers, Steve and Pete, broke down the existing 268' cedar fence , dug up all existing posts and removed all materials from our property within a day. In the evening, they constructed temporary barricades around our swimming pool and left their work area completely clean and ready for the next day's work. They very methodically proceeded to construct our new fence. They reset posts, moving those that needed to be placed elsewhere to even out the old fence sections and conferred with my wife regarding any issues considered a matter of preference; such as, distance from the ground and where she would prefer the extra inches that had to be put in one of the sections. She wanted to be consulted, and they had no problem doing so.The new fence is 268' in length, 6' high at the highest point of scalloped panels, with 2-5' wide gates, finials on all posts. The fence covers two different sections of the property, connecting to the house at two ends and a tennis court at the other two ends.Existing electrical boxes were reattached in the appropriate places. We were also instructed as to exactly how to maintain the new fence and the products to use in treating it and when and how to do it. Dirt left from newly dug post holes that contained old concrete was hauled off the property and the plain dirt was placed elsewhere in our yard as directed by my wife.Extra boards were left for future use if need be and we were given business cards with instructions to contact Mr. Keylon if any problems should arise.

+ -1 moreOwner Mark Keylon returned my initial call quickly and set up a time to meet for an estimate immediately. We were looking to either repair or replace an existing section of fence and gate. He gave us two very reasonable quotes and we chose to replace the existing fence and gate. Work began the next day with demolition and installation of new posts. I really appreciate how communicative he was about letting me know exactly when and what was being done so I could alert our renters to keep their dog on leash. The work was completed the next day and construction is far superior to the original fence. When the neighbors called our attention to the joining of our fence with theirs and asked that it be changed because our new work really showed up against their weathered wood, Mr. Keylon went over the next morning and put in another post so that the fences would not be joined. I really appreciated his professionalism and good nature.
Description of Work: About 40 feet of picket fence and gate were totally replaced.

+ -1 moreMark, the owner showed up on the day called and gave an estimate. That was June 21. On June 27 they showed up as promised and worked for three days to complete the fence. Very well done.
Description of Work: Mark erected a fence 12' x 42' x 80' x17 of 6 foot high chain link with a gate to enclose a portion of yard that the dogs couldn't get out of. Additionally the bottom of the fence was embedded in concrete so the dogs couldn't dig under the fence and get out.

+ -1 moreI’m very satisfied with them. They were very prompt. Their price was very good. I did have a couple of other companies that gave me a quote for the same and Hamilton Fence was in the middle. I’m not a person who would go with the company just because it’s the cheapest, but what impressed me the most was his promptness. He called back when he said he was going to call back. He showed up when he said he was going to show up.
Description of Work: I used the services of Hamilton Fence in April or May 2010. They would be coming in on the 10th of May 2011 to do some more work for me. They put a cross fencing on my yard because my yard was fenced on two sides, but there was nothing crosswise on it. It was a 4 foot Zion fence.

+ -1 moreI called to have someone come by for an estimate to replace our existing fence. No one answered but I was able to leave a message. I received a call back the next day & a day & time were set up for the estimator to come. He was early, polite, took the mesurements & said he'd call with the price. He asked several questions to make sure of what we wanted in fencing and removal service. I received the call with price & I told him I had another estimate & wanted to discuss with my husband first. My husband & I decided to go with Hamilton Fence. We received the call on a Monday that we could expect our fence job to be done by end of week or first of the following week. By Thursday morning the job was started -- old fence removed, fence posts set, etc. On Friday morning the fence was being installed on the posts & by 3PM it was done. We paid the price we were quoted.
Description of Work: Removal of existing split rail fencing plus wire attached. Installed black -chain link fencing in same area. The crew (2 men) were prompt , courteous & worked diligently. I'd highly reccommend this company.

+ -1 moreMark responded promptly to our call and came out to give us an estimate. He even came on the weekend since he was so busy! He was great about calling and letting us know when he was coming; he even called to let us know he was running a little late one day but that he was on his way. I really appreciate that since I work at home. He was very cordial and professional to work with and did an excellent job repairing the sections of the damaged fence. He was willing to coordinate his work with the tree removal company and even helped them out with another section of the fence that need to be rolled back to remove a tree. Because the gates he needed weren't in stock he had to make a second trip out to install the gates but didn't charge for an additional trip/time spent on the job. He was very honest and up-front about cost, time and labor, which we appreciated. He also likes dogs, a good thing in our case since we have three and it was the fence around their yard that needed the work. It was a good experience all around and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
