Foster Electric

I called Foster Electric after business hours left a message about our electrical needs. The next morning, I received a phone call from Ted Foster and after speaking with him, he dispatched TJ (an electrician) to our house within a few hours. TJ called when he was on his way to our home. He arrived on time. He promptly repaired 2 of the 3 items. Went to ACE Hardware for some parts and came back promptly and fixed the remaining item. He was professional, prompt, efficient and knew what he was doing. The price for everything was very reasonable and I will definitely call Foster Electric again in the future if we have electrical needs. Thanks!

Arrived on time as stated, very professional, explained what had transpired and why. Then promptly fixed the outlet. Excellent service, answered all of my questions thoroughly.

My experience with them was very good. They did not charge me more than the $59 Big Deal. The service turned out fine. I thought they were going to tell me I had to change a bunch of stuff and they identified just a couple of items that I can resolve myself. I would use them again in the future. Two people came out for an hour and it was just $59. That is pretty good. They were actually early.

PJ and BJ did a great job. They were on time, did a good job diagnosing the situation and developing a plan. Then they proceeded to install the new cable and wiring. They tested the wiring ensuring that it worked and cleaned up the site after that. The guys were very professional and did a great job in my opinion at a fair price. It only took them approximately 2-3 hours to get the job entirely done. Very impressive considering some of the dificult obstacles they had to overcome with the builder's design of my house. Would definitely recommend and use these guys again.

The work with Foster Electric went great. They were very, very courteous, prompt, on-time.

Scott and PJ did an outstanding job replacing an old fuse panel in the basement apartment of our previous house. The house was built in 1931 - so the wiring was ancient. They addressed numerous other issues from the home inspector's list including numerous circuits without grounds (common in older houses), circuits with common and ground bonded, replacing broken fixtures, face-plates, etc. From the estimate (was there on time as promised), throughout the repair process - these guys exceeded every expectation we had. They went above and beyond to make sure that the work was done quickly and professionally. They found and fixed things that the home inspector missed and made sure that the electrical system was safe and secure for the new homeowners. They came in below their initial estimate, and completed all the work in a single day. I would recommend these guys without hesitation.

Two individuals from Foster Electric arrived at the designated time. I had tried to change out a few light-switches on my own, and the result of my work was three rooms that no longer had functioning lights. The Foster Electric employees were able to get all of the switches replaced, and I now have functioning light-switches again. THANKS!

Now this review may sound a bit out of the norm, however, every word of it is absolutely heart felt ! We just moved out of state into our new/old historic home on missionary ridge, knowing our experience with success on angies list in the past, we sought out the highest rated angies list electrical pro- Foster ! From the very moment we spoke on the phone we sensed this would be a good professional relationship. Two very professional electricians arrived (right on time) and were most pleasant to work with, not to mention their estimate was very fair (had 2 others), they proceeded to meticulously perform all of the tasks t o get this old home back up to speed. Not for one minute did they not maintain their professional status and as an added bonus they were just the nicest two people (Paul & Scott) you would EVER hope to meet, as crazy as it sounds we so enjoyed their presence in our home, we were actually sad to see them finish, really !! p.s. one of these two gentlemen we happened to discover, is an honest to goodness REAL War HERO ! By trade I am a prof. Interior Designer/Real Estate Investor, never have we ever encountered such quality work by two finer men, we hope you take our advice and hire this company, THEY ARE THE BEST !!

We called for assistance and an electrician was sent out within two days. The job ended up being a longer list of "to do's" than we originally thought so an entire crew was sent out the next day to get EVERYTHING done. Their attention to detail was very much appreciated. They updated 80% of the light fixtures in the home and installed several new electrical outlets needed to update the home. One chandelier and one ceiling fan were hanging in tall two-story rooms! All the workers were polite and professional. I definitely would hire this company again.

We were remodeling and removed some wiring not knowing it was the supply for the upstairs. The fella that came out had it up and running in an hour. Very prompt, professional and very reasonably priced. Way cheaper than I had ever thought it would be. Extremely pleased.

Scott, the service provider was professional, very knowledgable, and fast. I recommend him and Foster Electric highly with absolutely no reservations.

I discovered several lights and outlets were not functioning early in the morning. I called Fosters and left a voicemail at 8:15 am. My call was returned within 75 minutes. I was told there was an electrician in my area and his next appointment had been cancelled, so he could be at my house in 30-40 minutes. 30 minutes later Jay arrived and set about tracking down the problem. The problem was in a functioning outlet, so it took a bit to track it down but Jay showed knowledge, professionalism and courtesy in correcting the problem. I will definitely call Foster again should the need arise.

It went well so we're going to pursue some more work with them. It seemed to be competent from my experience, I was a plant manager for 25 years, so I understand what they should be looking for and they seemed to be pretty good.

Bottom line, my experience with Foster Electric was "triple A"! I can't say enough good about them. The electricians (P.J. Johnson, Scott Jones, and Jason) were prompt, professional, knowledgeable competent and very courteous. All of my questions were answered and everything on my list of issues was done entirely to my satisfaction. The final price came in substantially under estimate and to top it off, they cleaned-up and carted away all of the old stuff. They don't do any unnecessary work or sell you anything that you don't need just to escalate the cost. Foster will be my permanent electrican from now on and I would heartily recommend them to anyone looking for excellent electrical repair service!

I am very pleased with the work done. Jay was professional, punctual and knowledgeable. After crawling beneath the house, he infomed us of a few electrical safety hazards and resolved those issues. He even changed a light fixture in the bathroom and built a platform on which to mount it. The price was reasonable. I will definitely use these guys again and will suggest this company to others. Just one issue: The guys weren't really able to clean up the ensuing mess without proper equipment. Would some type of shop vac be a reasonable suggestion?

I think the guys who did the work were friendly and competent. They seemed eager to do a good job and delivered on what they were supposed to do. One thing, though, that I wish they would have done more of is pick up after themselves. They left wire and "knock-outs" around the areas where the worked. It really is a mark against perceived professionalism when a crew doesn't leave the job site at least as clean as it was when they found it. Sadly, I think this is an issue with LOTS of electricians, regardless of employer.

Jay was very professional and knowledgeable. He completed the job in an hour and a half the same day. The estimate was $400 less than two other electricians had quoted me. I will definitely call them again if I need electrical work done!

He was also very courteous and while at my home gave me some advice that could help me avoid electrical problems in the future. They were both knowledgeable and ethical in their trade and offered a competitive price. P.J. did an extra special, great job in doing everything possible to make sure that I was satisfied and please with the service he provided. Our initial call was returned within the same day. He arrived promptly within two days of our initial contact to give us an estimate. When we asked him to do the work he arranged a date and time within a week and arrived on time. The work was completed within the time frame he estimated and we were extremely pleased with his work, professionalism, and neatness of work. We were given a disount for going through Angie's List and the price seemed low to us! Always a plus! My husband and I definitely reccommend this company!

They came out and did an insulation of a motor home 50 amp socket. It had to go into a meter. I liked that they were available, timely and their price was reasonable. I found them from Angie’s List and I liked the reviews on them too. It took them only one day to do the work and it took about a week to get it scheduled. They did a fine job and got it done for me.
