Jay, Caleb, and Caine came out and installed ceiling fans in my home.. They did an excellent job on the fans and were very professional and friendly. I will definitely be calling them for all of my electrical needs in the future!

Jay did an outstanding job with tracking the problem we had and make the correct decision for the repair. He worked quickly, efficiently and was very courteous.

From estimate to completion, my experience with this company was great. Workers were polite and thorough, work was completed to satisfaction and under budget. We will be using this company again!

Let me just say WOW! This company is the most honest & trustworthy company I've ever dealt with. The sweet office lady gathered all my info & scheduled for a quote. Billy came out to my home & diagnosed all that needed to be done which actually was a little more than I realized because of wiring but that was fine because based on his quote they were the best price I had received! Billy even made suggestions on how to better accomodate all we wanted with our lighting. I then received my quote by email & we scheduled for the job to be done. It took a few days to complete but the entire crew did an AMAZING job! Jay called when they were on the way and upon arrival I was greeted by Jay and Chris. Once onsite they had their game plan in place and got right to work. They were very considerate of my belongings, children, & small dog being in the house. I had spoke directly with ALL the men that were onsite at some point and each of them had nothing but manners the entire time they worked! Caleb, Gary, Mark, Caine, & Levi were all part of the additional crew onsite to do my job and I will ALWAYS use Foster Electric for all of our repairs! FANTASTIC Company! Ted Foster should be super proud of his staff for their SUPERB WORK!

Worst experience ever. Rude, unprofessional. Would not honor contract with listed work and refused to give refund. Several of the "electricians" were rude and refused to do contracted/paid for work. Lied about time there - I had timed them myself. Caught going through personal items. Inappropriate comments.

This was the second time we used Foster Electric and again were very pleased with the work they did. It was to be an all day job, and Gary called at 8:01am to let us know he and Chris were on their way. They got right to work, Jay and Cane came to help before going to another job, and even with taking a lunch break they were done by 2:30pm. They were very helpful answering all questions and even did some additional work at very little increase in cost. I highly recommend Foster and will call on them any time I have electrical work to be done.

Chris and Gary were phenomenal. They worked very efficiently and kept us in the loop at every juncture. Their work was top notch and we would definitely hire again.

The hood vent was a challenge as this was a remodeled kitchen from the 1960's. Mark and Gary figured out how to get electricity to the hood with no damage to the walls. They finished in less time and lower cost than was originally quoted to me. They cleaned up, and everything looks great. This is either the fifth or sixth time I have used Foster Electric over the last three years, in our own home and the other houses that we own. They are easy to reach by phone, always arrive on time and are priced reasonably.

The work went extremely well. The workers, Chris, Gary and Levi were great. The were helpful, informative and courteous. The work was done quickly and efficiently. They answered all my questions and made sure I was happy with the work. When finished they even did a great job cleaning up, leaving things just as they had found them. If I need any more work done I will be calling these guys back. To top it off they were able to get the job done for less than the estimate.

The guys did a great job today well done. Everything works as advertised and you cleaned up well. Anytime I need electrical work, your my first call. Best of all it was under budget.

This is the second time I have used Foster Electric as I was so impressed with the first time, and they did not let me down. Prompt and courteous, very professional yet friendly. The work was scheduled to take one day plus several hours a second day, They finished ahead of schedule, in one day, despite rain forecast the entire day and mounting 4 exterior security lights around the house. Chris, Caleb, Jay and Gary did a marvelous job with Chris spending a good part of the day running wire through the attic. After that day after they were finished, I found an outlet that a cover had been left off of. It was lying nearby, and I was going to just place it on myself, but then realized I could not as it needed to be screwed into tile. I called them the next day, and PJ and Chris came out within 30 minutes to take care of it. They additionally asked if I had decided where I had wanted the switch mounted for the under-cabinet lights (I had wanted to consult my wife first) and additionally did that for me as well. The work is first-rate and my wife was particularly impressed with the under-cabinet lighting: it looks fabulous, and she liked that it could either be turned on/off and also dimmed. The first time I used them they came in under budget, this second time they came in under schedule, finishing early. They immediately returned to fix an oversight and then also mounted a switch for me. I highly once again recommend Foster Electric for anything one might need electrically. I am remodeling a basement and will have a need for more electrical work this year and plan to use them again.

We bought a old "handy man" special. It needed a lot of corrections in old wiring. They gave us an estimates up-front and the final bills came in less. They call ahead and got here on time. Chris and Caleb has been on both calls and know how to explain the "reasons and whys" they have to do something a certain way. I appreciate that. They listen to what I want and make helpful suggestions. When they leave, the work spaces are clean. I have been very happy with the work and they will be the only Electric company we will be calling.

They actually came in below original estimate once the box was relocated. It was a bit complicated because of multiple incoming and out going wires and the stud location. Billy did a great job keeping my repair of the hole from the original location at a minimum. This is the third time I have used Foster and they have been outstanding to work with and their work is first rate. Highly recommend them for your electrical needs.

I purchased a Angie's list promotion - 2 hours of work for $99. It took a couple of weeks to get on their schedule but it was worth the wait. They made two separate trips to my house, they definitely put in more than 2 hours of time. First trip,they evaluated my old ceiling fan which had stopped working.They determined that the motor was fried. They took down the ceiling fan and hauled it off for me. They did not charge me anything for this time and told me to reschedule when I had purchased a new ceiling fan. They came out again when I rescheduled they were very prompt, professional and friendly. Chris and Caleb installed a proper ceiling fan box before installing the new fan....what a difference. They also installed a new electrical outlet in my basement. Excellent installation job, I am a very satisfied customer.

I had used Foster Electric before to replace a ceiling fan and they did a great job, so I made this appointment without requesting an estimate/quote before hand. The electricians called 15 mins before the appointment to let me know that they were in route. I provided all lighting fixtures; electricians provided ceiling fan mounting box and some wiring for the emergency light installation. Work was completed within 1 hour using three (3) electricians, and work was completed professionally. My only complaint is that the job, in my opinion, did not warrant two (2) electricians and one (1) apprentice, and I was also charged for 1.5 hrs labor for each of these men; I spoke with the office about my concerns, but since I did not have an estimate/quote for the job, and because those discussing the issue were third-parties to the actual service (myself, the owner, and the person answering the phone at Foster Electric), it was difficult to challenge the costs and crew size (my mother was home for the appointment, and I don't know if the owner spoke with the crew). I will happily use Foster Electric again for future needs and would not hesitate to recommend them to others, but would caution them to seek a formal estimate/quote before hand so there are no surprises.

I was very pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of the crew. They made sure to ask questions throughout the job to make sure everything was as I expected. They cleaned up completely afterwards. I will definitely call on Foster Electric for my next electrical project.

Workers were well informed and went about their work in a professional manner. They were also very courteous. There was $50.00 error on the bill and Mr. Foster promptly sent me a check. We would definitely use again.

The only negative was they lost a bracket for hanging the light and took them longer to complete overall service. I found the bracket behind our cedar chest where they had originally opened the box. I thought the time charge was higher due to their losing the bracket, but I got everything done that I wanted.

It went well. I had called for an estimate, and they came out the next day and took down all the requests I had, took digital pictures for reference of all work areas needing work. Very nice and was prompt. When he asked how I had heard of Foster Electric, I mentioned it was on Angie's list (the other two I considered were not) and he immediately smiled and said that by using their service I would receive the set fair price (I forget the exact price he quoted) for labor, and I was happy with that. I received an estimate the next day by email, and felt it was reasonable for the amount of work required, which was actually two separate estimates for the work which had to be done in two stages. I scheduled it for the next month, and 3 days were needed due to amount of work. On the first day of scheduled work, I received a call that morning that an emergency had come in and needed to be handled, and that would take about 2 hours, and they would be there about 10:00 am. I was okay with this, as 1) of the 3 firms I had checked prior to the estimate, this was the only one that even offered an emergency service, and I felt good knowing it would be available to me if I needed it, and apparently they took that seriously. 2). They let me know as soon as they did of the delay, and overall it did not delay the expected 3 days of service. The rest of the work went as planned. Jay, Gary, and Chris showed up on day 1 (Caleb was there with Chris on day 2, and Jay and Caleb on day 3) at 10:00 am. They had checked the weather beforehand, and on the second day there was rain possible thunderstorms forecast all day, so they scheduled all inside work to be done then. They also advised me on day 1 that on day 2 the power would have to be off for a minimum of 6 hours to re-do the breaker boxes, and that the power board would have to be called to cut off power (and turn it back on later) and that I would have to be present to verify with the power board that I, the owner, wanted the power cut off (it' an EPB requirement). I wasn't looking forward to being without power for 6 hours, though, and had all my kindles and computers charged to be ready. Then I found out they did not require me to be present at the house once the power board had been notified, so if I wanted to leave I could. That was great as I had to get my car serviced and a few other odds and ends that took several hours, so I did. When I got back that afternoon, the power was already back on, and they finished up by about 4:00 pm. Day 3 went well with the tracing of all the breakers and final touches. Overall, I'm was very pleased with the service and already plan on using them again for some up-coming electrical additions. (One note for the Angie's list software people - this word processor has deleted prose four times while trying to write this - it needs a little work: frustrating to have to rewrite long text :)
