Description of Work: The Foametix team provided product and installation as contracted, on time, professional workmanship. Installation was quick and continuous through final clean up, free of typical over-spray expectations. This was important as house has log walls and interior walls were finished and exposed during installation.

 + -1 moreNell was punctual in the appointment to survey the project and follow up with the proposal. They were able to start quickly and the workers were very polite and worked hard in covering all the surface. We are very happy with the result as the temperature fluctuated widely upstairs and now it is more stable. We are planning to remodel the space and now we do not have to have the contractor add regular insulation.

 + -1 moreWe recently moved to the Chattanooga area from the West coast and after buying a home in the area decided that it was necessary to insulate the entire roof area in order to reduce the extreme temperature swings and make the upstairs finished space more comfortable as well as reduce cooling and heating costs. We considered various types insulation, spoke to neighbors, friends and industry professionals and settled on spray foam insulation. Steven Hobbs impressed us with his professionalism, timeliness & and overall knowledge. He gave us a competitive price, an accurate square footage for spray foam coverage, a realistic schedule to get the work done and a firm commitment when work is to be started. The work was started and completed exactly as indicated. The crew led by Eddie did a great job, took great care to be neat, completely the work area & removed excess material. Rankly we were amazed at the quality of work & their dedication to complete the work planed for that day. We highly recommend Fometix of Chattanooga for your insulation needs. During the work a representative stopped by to check on the crew's progress and to make sure we were satisfied. The next day one of the owners stopped by to inspect the work and again make sure we were satisfied.

Description of Work: Foametix came and insulated the ceiling in the garage which is right underneath our daughter's bedroom. The job was done quickly and professionally. Within a couple of hours of the job being completed we could already tell that the room was a good 4-5 degrees warmer than it had been previously. This is a great solution for bedrooms and bonus rooms above a garage. The only thing to note is that since it is code to have drywall finishing your garage ceilings, we had to first remove the drywall and now will have to have it re-installed - this is definitely something to consider when planning a project like this.

Description of Work: Just completed the second job with us yesterday. they sprayfoam insulated an addition to our house. First part of the job was last year and the other just completed. We are very pleased with the work they did and all of they people we dealt with were great. This was a job in a remote location but they did everything to make the process go well from the initial estimate, scheduling and the crews who came to perform the work.

Description of Work: The installed spray foam insulation in my historic home. There were some issues with getting things scheduled. I also had some issues with the quality of the work that the crew did. The leadership worked hard to try and make things right. I am disappointed with the way the process went but I would still do business with them and even recommend them. They seem to be working hard to improve the product and their service delivery.

 + -1 moreThey performed the work very professionally and were very cognizant of the surroundings to keep overspray of the foam contained. They came one afternoon and prepared the room and surrounding areas, and came the next day to blow the foam. They used open cell foam on ceiling and floor, and closed cell on walls. They cleaned up very well. Both owners (Steven and Neil) made separate visits to the jobsite, one each day. The work was completed in a day and a half.
Description of Work: Foametix insulated a new room addition with vaulted ceiling, walls and open underneath the floor.

Description of Work: I called and they did come out, but then getting an estimate was way too slow and frustrating. Problem, too, that other work couldn't be done prior to knowing if I was going foam or conventional insulation in attic. I called twice more over a 2 week period. 1st time with a promise to get it the next day...a week later saying they were having email problems and would drop it off in my mail box that week. which they didn't do. I emailed asking why it was so difficult and finally got an estimate on May 4, two weeks and 1 day after the inspection. Estimate of $7436 did not include full basement, just band. My house is 1369 sq ft. Estimate was higher than the other 2 foam estimates I got.in a timely manner. IMHO, if you have to babysit or nag someone to get an estimate, not a good sign and not a professional way of doing business.
