Description of Work: Gutter Repair

Description of Work: Met with sales respresentative on 2/1 and was impressed with quality of product and lifetime warranty on this product. After viewing their video that points out what makes their gutter superior to other gutter systems, we decided to go with this gutter rather than pay for much cheaper gutters. We had obtained a much cheaper quote for "leaf guard" gutters but were not given any information about how they are constructed, how they are installed, and not given any type of description or if there is any warranty. Leaf Guard has been in business for many years and I had remembered seeing them give a demostration at a home show many yrs ago when they first developed this gutter system and they are still around doing business. The crew was here on 2/6 to install the gutters and were done in 1 day and cleaned up the mess and old gutters and were very quick and professional. I am very pleased with how quickly the gutters were installed and how nice and professional everyone was that I encountered from this company. I hope to never have to deal with clogged gutters ever again!

Description of Work: Insatalled AGT Leafguard Gutter System and we began to have issues anytime there was a significant rainfall. AGT described the issue as "overshoot" and after several service calls refused to service the installation. We had several contractors out as well as a home inspector and they confirmed it was an improper installation.We filed a BBB complaint with no response and finally sued to resolve.

Description of Work: After reviewing literature and claims about LeafGuard Gutters I agreed to purchase their gutter system for my home. I was promised the gutters were "clog free" and would never would have to be cleaned out again. And, in the event they did clog LeafGuard would clean them out at no cost. The gutters on the front of my house worked OK as there were no trees in the front yard. However, the gutters on the rear of the house clogged up in the spring and again in the fall due to the oak trees in back. LeafGuard responded twice the first year and did clean the gutters at no cost. However, they would not return to my home after the first year to clean out the gutters. One of their representatives Mr. Darrel Johnson sounded somewhat thereatening to me when calling him on the phone. A complaint was filed with the Better Business Bureau of Chattanooga against LeafGuard; however, LeafGuard did not respond to the complaint. LeafGuard was not and is not at the present time a member of the BBB. LeafGuard Gutters are advertised at Warranted for the Life of the house.
