Emerald Creek responded to my call, looked at what needed to be done and gave an estimate. They returned on time to do the work, just as they said, completed the work quickly for the price quoted. I would use them again for other landscaping projects and would recommend them to a friend. Great job!!

Excellent. Richard was competitive with his pricing, professional in his presentation and recommendation, and knowledgeable in his recommended materials. He was on time each day and worked a full day to accomplish the task. He and his team cleaned up at the end of each day and always had me inspect the work to date and highlight the next steps. I will be using Richard again in the future and would recommend his company to anyone interested in quality workmanship at a fair price.

Richard is very punctual and professional to deal with. He has an engineering degree and provides excellent advice. He is even-keeled and dependable. We had to have the septic field lines replaced and the yard looked like a bomb went off. Richard came in and replaced three railroad tie retaining walls with segmented wall blocks. Did an excellent job and we couldn't be happier.

Project went well. They worked with me to pick out the materials for the look I wanted. They alwo worked with me to schedule the start time and started the work when expected. There was an unforseen issue that came up with the way the footer of the house was poured that required some changes.They provided suggestions to resolve the problem. I was very staisfied with the outcome of the project and glad that I used Emerald Creek for the work. I would definately use them again for other landscaping projects.

We were out of town while the work was being done and were pleased with the results upon our return. Richard is a conscientious tradesman and we would use his company again. We highly recommend Emerald Green!

Richard was very professional. He understood our needs and made suggestions on product choice. He was excellent in communicating with me which was important since I was no longer living at that location. The work was done promptly and no messes were left behind. Our patio looked beautiful and was a great selling point for our house which is sold!

Richard Tennyson and his crew did a stupendous job providing us with a brand new backyard, one we can enjoy and one that enhances the value of our home. Removal of the old concrete patio was done by cutting up the concrete (6 inches thick) and hauling it out. A hand driven bobcat was used because of limited access to our backyard. We were most impressed by the professionalism of Mr. Tennyson and his work crew. The grading has proven to be very effective for water control. The yard was, naturally, a mess while the work was going on but it was completed in a timely fashion. We were not inconvenienced by delays. If you have a dream landscaping project, do yourself a favor and get a quote from Richard Tennyson.

I called Richard based on the reviews. He always arrived prompt and was very courteous. We walked through the estimating process and her provided designs to review and a detailed price breakdown. The work I had was a hardscape patio with a couple of knee walls. The project went as planned and the team was prompt, Richard was on site when the hardscape work was being performed. There was a slight issue that I called about and Richard came out right away and addressed it. He and his team cleaned after each day and they were all professional.

The crew came on time everyday, and communicated the process, thus setting my expectations. They were neat in the build-out process, and all-in-all I felt the project went extremely well. I was impressed with their commitment to my satisfaction with the project. I would not hesitate to utilize their service again.

We were shocked and impressed when we got a return call back from Richard 30 minutes after we left a message requesting an estimate to redo our retaining wall. We set an appt for 4 the next day. He was on time, neatly dressed and had measuring equipment with him. We had a good comforting feeling from the start. When looking at the project he was very attentive to what we wanted to do and was courteous with questions and suggestions. When we said we wanted to go with the least expensive stone since it was going to face the woods he completely agreed. He got back to us within 2 days with an estimate that we thought was reasonable. Since it was toward the end of the week and he needed to finish up his current project we agreed to start the following Monday, August 20th. On Thursday he realized he could not finish on time so he called us to let us know he would be able to start on Tuesday instead. He and Matt arrived at 9am in a large clean flatbed truck loaded with his Bobcat, attachments, power tools and hand tools. They both were dressed in neat work clothes (no butt cracks or bare chests). They immediately started working and did not stop until lunch. When they came back an hour later they went right back to work. We knew we had made the right decision and had hired a professional with an excellent work ethic. When we would check on their progress Richard would always answer our questions and never made us feel like we were a bother. When the project was complete they cleared and cleaned the area to get it as close as possible to its original condition. On the last day of the project we decided to add some sodding to the area. Richard was very accommodating about purchasing and laying the sod It only took the 2 of them 4 days to complete the wall project and less than half a day to pick up the sod and lay it.. Two days later Richard made a follow up call to see if the sod was getting enough water and if we had any questions or issues we needed to discuss. Honestly this was the best experience with a contractor that we have ever had. If we ever decide to do any other landscape projects we will definitely will use Emerald Creek Landscapes.

Hired this company due to the recommendation of a friend. The owner of the company kept me informed through all aspects of the job......always doing what he told me he was going to do. Basically, everyday I was informed on what would be completed that day. Anytime there was a delay, for weather related issues or material delivery, I was notified ahead of time. The owner and workers for this company were all very professional. The owner was very accommodating with changes that I wanted made after the original estimate. In the end, a professional and quality job.

I like them. You are able to speak with someone if you should have a problem with their work.
