Dip 'N Strip

Fantastic job. This was my mother's hope chest. She got married in the early 40's so the chest was probably made in the late 30's. Made by the Cavalier Corporation in Chattanooga TN. Delivered to have it stripped and refinished. It has several intricate designs and he suggested that he strip it and put a clear coat for protection so that we can see the designs. What a beautiful piece of furniture it turned out to be. Well done sir. He also refinished a 'tear drop' table that was my grandmother's. He did this for my brother. It turned out great also.

Cast iron set of six chairs, three chaise loungers and four ottomans...no small task and slings were failing after a decade on the deck! These are not 'name brand' items and so it was a bit of challenge to figure out how to tackle... The opportunity to pick out new fabric was great and it's MUCH better quality than factory--the final product is simply stunning!! Larry picked up and delivered the furniture, an added convenience! Due to some technical difficulties that were encountered, the overall job took longer than either of us would have liked, but it was worth the wait! Encourage anyone seeking these kinds of services to plan early or do off-season, takes the stress out of missing your furniture! Will recommend to friends that I know are looking for restrapping work on their patio set...powder-coat painting was also an option but not one we elected.

From the beginning they were as polite and professional as they come. All of the furniture was done in a timely manner and the results are outstanding. The furniture looks better than when it was first bought. Larry's craftsmanship could not be better. I would highly recommend Dip n Strip to everyone.

Larry did everything he said he would do, performed exactly like he said he would do it, performed in the time frame he proposed, and gave us beautiful quality work. He added some extras at no extra charge. Overall his work was exceptional and better than we had expected.

Larry had previously stripped a deacon's bench for us which we refinished afterwards. We knew of his work so we took an old cedar chest to him to strip. The chest had been in an attic for more than 50 years and was in poor shape. Larry stripped it then repaired some broken pieces and refinished it. The chest came out looking really great. He stuck to his original estimate within in 10% even though he had to a bit more work than he had anticipated. We were happy with the results. Be prepared to wait a while as he is busy and may take a while to get your job done.
