drain cleaning
+ -1 moreI called and spoke with the lady in the office and told her the situation. She said he would come back out and finish the job at no charge. He (Donny) called me a while later and said that he would come back out, but would charge me again. I told him that the lady in the office said there would be no charge. He told me he would call her. She sent a email and told me that "Mr. Allen, I have spoken with Donny and told him that there will be no charge if it is the same problem. However, if it is a different problem there will be another charge. In saying that, there is no way to determine whether it is the same problem or not without coming out there. So, please let us know if you would like for us to return in the morning. I emailed her back and told her if it would cost me more money to complete the job, disregard and I would get someone else. I didn't hear anymore from Chase at all.
Description of Work: I told the plumber they sent out as we walked around back that others who cleaned the drain out normally go in through the pipe on top of the house. I also pointed it out to him. He asked me what it was doing and I told him when the dishes were washed, water was backing up into the tub. He decided to run the snake from the sewer drain behind house – when it did not work, he ran it through the bathtub (top plug) drain which I had already cleaned out; but my snake did not go all the way to the main drain. It did clean out the drain ‘there’, but we didn’t find out until the next day when my wife spinned out the washing machine that the drain was also plugged elsewhere. Had he run the snake through where I showed him it was normally done, the whole line would have been good to go!
