The experience was great. I have never had some one come into my house and do work and it go so well. They were all so nice and did such great work. And the windows look great and they arrived 30 tinnitus early.

From the time we ordered the windows (white on white) to the time they were installed was less than a month. The work was completed in a single day by 4 professional installers. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this business to anyone who needs replacement windows!

The carpenters, would not heed my advice. Later, the manager, came to my home and disagreed with all my complaints, he had an excuse for every mistake they made and thought they did a great job, but he knew better. The quality of the door itself is an A. I will have to pay a local carpenter to totally "rebuild" the front step (a repair would not solve the problem).

Crew was often late; manager was seldom here; the number of crewman varied day to day. One day only one man came & had to leave early as additional hands were needed; one mans father was brought due to lack of available crew and we did not know his abilities; installation took longer than promised, though was done good overall.

We had Champion replace two sliding glass doors a few years ago and have been very pleased with them. When we decided to enclose the porch we called Champion, and the same sales rep came and gave us a price. We are very pleased with the work their technicians did, all in one day.

On 13 Sept, six weeks after the agreement was signed and a week later than the approximate installation time, I phoned Champion and was told the office did not know the status of my order and did not know when the next delivery was due. On 26 Sept, a Friday, I visited the office to check on status and was told the same thing - no info on the order. The same day I phoned the salesman with whom I met. He said he would check into it and get back with me. Since I had heard nothing from the salesman, at noon on Monday, 28 Sept I returned to the office to check again. My order was not on the last delivery and the office had no idea of when the next delivery would be made. At that time I presented the office person with a letter summarizing the situation to date and informing Champion I was declaring a material breach of the agreement since they had not installed the windows within the agreed upon timeframe. I gave them a week to clear the breach or refund my money. The same day, I was contacted by Mr. John McGill, Division Mgr. When he got personally involved, things started happening. He found the status of the order, got them delivered and installed on 10 Oct. He called me daily to let me know what had transpired since our previous talk. Followup was very good. The installation went very well with no issues. The installers were at the house when they said they would be there. Work was done in about 4 hours. We are pleased with the results. I had dealt with Champion when we owned another house with good results. This experience was very disappointing for four reaasons: 1. From the time the measurements were taken on 3 Aug, I heard nothing from Champion unless I initiated the contact. No order status, no concern for the delay, nothing. 2. When I contacted Champion, the lady in the office had no information about my order and apparently no way to follow order status. I'm not sure how a business can operate like that. 3. I had to declare a breach to get anyone to pay attention to me. That is an extreme measure. 4. Champion considerably overpromised and under delivered. The outcome was fine, but the effort I had to make to get Champion to perform on the agreement we reached was more than I believe should be required. Champion makes a good product, but the onus is on the customer to get compliance. Based on this experience, I recommend potential customers get everything in writing including the approximate delivery date and be prepared to initiate any followup on the order.

They were very professional and did excellent work. They went over and above and I was much more pleased than I thought I would be. They had to come out twice to adjust my doors. They came out quickly both times and the doors are now working perfectly.

From the day the salesman visited to the day installation was complete, Champion was in all instances prompt, courteous, professional and efficient. Except for paint scrapes left by their ladders on the exterior, they left the site as they found it, and did an excellent job of cleaning up the work site. The newly-installed windows are aesthetically pleasing, provide the functionality we want and enable the use of our former screened porch for all or part of 12 months per year. The porch has a wood-burning fireplace, and with the insulated windows closed (one slightly open to provide airflow so the chimney will draw), we can raise the temperature on the porch to nearly 70 degrees even when the outside air is as low as 25. Despite our overall happiness with the job, there was a significant warranty issue. For whatever reason, Champion's engineers elected to change latching hardware on the casements from metal to plastic. Additionally, they secured the crank handles to the gear mechanism with a simple press-fit pin. The installation crew said they had never seen these new parts before our job, and agreed they appeared a bit "insubstantial." In fact, three pins fell out of the handles during the installation, leaving one holding the handle and no method for cranking the window. As for the plastic latches, they performed as one might expect - alignment was uneven, and varied with temperature and humidity each day. Some days one could latch the windows and on others they simply wouldn't close or latch. All this said, Champion's warranty service was exemplary. There were four separate trips made by crews, including the local manager, to find ways of rectifying the problem. After recognizing the hardware was of poor design and equally poor quality, they finally changed to the original metal hardware. Since then I have had no problems. We thoroughly enjoy the sunroom, and recommend Champion with only one caveat: If you order casement windows, determine in advance if the latching hardware and cranking mechanisms are metal or plastic. Also, demand that all cranks be secured with roll (spring) pins and not tiny press-fit dowels.

We had a representative come over to give us a price in May. We were happy with the price but were shocked to find that is would be August before the installation would happen. When that day finally arrived only one man showed up to do the job (I think his name was Joe). We were a little worried but he was great, paid a lot of attention to details and was very professional. It was very hot outside but he did not ask to come inside ever, did not take breaks and worked two long 10 hour days to complete the job. Two men showed up at the end of the second day to help him but the only problem with the patio, a leak in one section, was a part installed when the three men were working together, so I guess when several guys work together each assumes another did a certain task maybe and then it gets overlooked. But the leak was repaired the next day after we called to report the issue. The electrician that Champion hired had to come out three times to install the fan correctly. He showed up a few hours late the first time, then said he had to leave because he was late for another job. (what?) The second day he left because he did not have the parts he needed in his van. This confused me because he had already been to the house once and knew what he needed to do... We already put the fan together for him, he just had to run the wires! It also took him close to 3 hours to make a 5 minute trip to Home Depot and get the parts. A month later we started to get a little concerned about the way the gutter was installed and also about the gap between the soffit and the patio but when we mentioned this to Gene at Champion (he called us, not the other way around) he arranged for the builder to come out and fix then. Both issues were addressed and corrected to our satisfaction the next day. We have had the patio for two months now and are VERY happy with it. It looks great and friends have told us how wonderful it looks. The material used is very easy to clean (bugs do get on it sometimes but the smears wipe off easily) and when the rain hits the roof it makes a very pleasant, soothing sound. Sometimes when I hear the rain start I go out there just so I can listen to it. The dog really enjoys sitting out there also.

Champion gave me an estimate and a day later sent someone out to get the measurements. The material was ordered and delivered and the men finished the job in three days. They arrived early, were very respectful and cleaned up after themselves. I was very satisfied with their job and would use them again for another project. I highly recommend them.

They were very professional. They did the clean up. Overall, they were just great! It took about a day and a half. They made sure every window was complete after the first day inside and the same thing on the second day with the outside. I can't say this enough, they were very professional. Everything that they have done has been great. I would highly recommend them and they were also highly recommended by a friend.

They arrived on time and ready to work. They got set up and started. They did an excellent job. They finished on time, cleaned up, and I was very satisfied with the end results. I would have them do other jobs in the future.

Overall my experience with Champion was GREAT! They're prices were a bit higher than other companies, but I feel like the price was VERY worth the money spent! I used another company to replace one other window in my house at a later date, and while much cheaper, the quality and workmanship (as well as installation process) was nowhere near that of Champion. I have since sold that home and moved, but the windows were one of the BEST improvements I made to that 100+ year old home while I owned it!

They did a good job and I had no complaints. They did what they said they were going to do and that is about it. They were a little high on pricing but I think it is probably the best product. They were really good on quality.

It was an enriching experience with Champion of Chattanooga Company. However, their product was too pricey for me. They were professional. I would recommend them. I would consider them in the future.

They may not be the cheapest but they are great company. They did an excellent job. They are very professional. They stand behind their work. The top manager called me directly when I complained about my gutters. They even came right out to look at it. He was one of the top managers and I was impressed that he called me directly. He made sure I was happy by the end of it. The quality of work they have done is excellent. They were excellent overall. They were very meticulous about their work, and they were very nice people.

big talking salesman, then one guy shows up to do the whole patio. skylight always leaked, still does. they measured the front door, then when it came in, it didn't fit. TWICE. then when we refused to pay the balance till they fixed their shoddy work, they sued us. then they tried it again with another family, and my husband went to court and testified, and at least helped that family out. we had the wrong attorney for our case. how do they win all those awards???????
