My contractor had some lumber delivered from Brainerd Lumber Co. 4401 Rossville Blvd, Chattanooga, TN 37407. I had an area on my driveway for them to put the lumber. I had to run up the road for a minuet and left my 13 year old with instructions on where the lumber was to be put and to call if the driver showed up his name is Lee. My son called me when the driver arrived and I told him I would be home in 5 minuets. The driver told my son he could not wait, my son showed him where to put the lumber. The man lifted his truck bed up and slid all the lumber not on the drive way but on to my shrubs and removed the bark from one of my trees. Half of the lumber landed on the driveway the other half in the dirt, shrubs, flowers and up against the tree where the bark was removed. The lumber was scattered. My son told the man that he had crushed our shrubs and other things and he said sorry and left. When I pulled in the subdivision I saw their truck leaving and came home to lumber scattered everywhere. We immediately call Brainerd Lumber Co and where told that the driver was to far down the road and could not turn around, I asked for the manager to call me when he got in. The manager Art called back 10 minuets later and said that the driver was already back at the lumber yard ( which is not even possible as Brainerd Lumber Co is a good 45 minuets away from where I live). He was rude, never apologized, and my son and I had to remove the lumber from the shrubbery ourselves. On top of it I have never seen such a poor excuse for lumber. The boards are bowed, split and warped. There where a few good boards but they where few and far between. When you spend $2,200 you expect to be treated a little better I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. this is just who my contractor uses. We have always used Evans Lumber they sell quality wood and are very pleasant, and will do whatever they can to make their customers happy.
