Around the Top Tree Service

We had extensive tree damage after the tornados came through in April. Due to that damage, a limb fell through our roof into my son's bedroom. We had the roof replaced and were having a hard time finding a tree service. I was driving to the store one afternoon and a neighbor was having some tree work done. I pulled over and the owner immediately followed me to my home and gave me an on-the-spot estimate. He was very affordable, licensed and bonded, and seemed like a really nice person so I hired him. Regrettably, he never showed for that first appointment. I called and left 3 separate voice mails before I got a return call. The owner explained why he was unable to take the trees down as agreed, so we rescheduled. Again, he did not show. He did call a couple of days later and told me of another emergency that kept him away. We rescheduled again and he arrived...3 hours late and unable to remove my trees because he had forgotten how tall the trees were and he couldnt reach them with his bucket truck. He agreed to be back the following week with a tree-climber. That was supposed to happen at 8:00 this morning. It is now 1:54 PM and I have activated an account on Angie's List so that my experiences may help someone else. This is 4 separate scheduled service calls and none were kept. He is a nice man and the estimates are very reasonable, but he wont show. Not a good experience for us.
