58 Lawn Mower Repair

We took our Troy-built lawn mower and Ryobi 4 cycle weed eater to 58 Lawn Mower Repair Center. The self-propel on the lawn mower was not working and the belt had come loose on the weed eater so when we pulled the starter rope it was not connected and would not start. The man there said he could fix the mower but that the weed eater was a piece of junk and go buy another one. We explained the weed eater was only 2 years old and we felt like it was worth fixing so we left both items for him to fix. Two weeks later we checked to see if they were fixed and the lady that answered the phone said they had to order a part from Sears for the lawn mower but had not even looked at the weed eater. While we were there he looked at the weed eater and said maybe there wasn't that much wrong with it after all. A few days later we called to checked on the progress and was told the part was still not in for the lawn mower and they were soaking the valves on the weed eater. We told them we would be there Friday before Memorial Day to pick it up. The man there said he would call in an hour to let us know what time they would be ready. He also said they would be closing at 6pm and would be closed for the holiday and would not be opened again until the Tuesday after Memorial Day. The man never called us back, we got to his business by 5:30 and they were already closed. Tuesday we go to get our lawn mower and weed eater and mower was ready,but the weed eater was never touched!
