We had just bought a house that needed some serious and diverse repairs. We interviewed a series of contractors who offered partial repairs on only single elements of the whole project. After much frustration we were fortunate to find Owens Construction. They were able to address every project goal and provide a comprehensive solution for every item of concern. Dustin devised an innovative fix for each issue ranging from roofing leaks, eroding porch supports, a screen room renovation, and a state of the art drain pit system to address a severe flooding issue. Owens Construction offered to fix a job that had previously been left unfinished. They did great work and were timely in completing the job.

They did a excellent job and they did everything thing they said they would do.

It went smoothly. The deck was done in 2 days and me and my family love it.

Very poorly. The concrete has patches of the gravel used in the mix on top. The project manager, Chris, told me that he would send a crew out to fix it, but after 5 months the concrete still looks the same. I will never hire nor recommend this company to anyone else and I sincerely hope that Angi will remove them from their list of approved pros.

They Never Called to arrange discussion

He stated that he would require a contract sighed before he would give an estimate. It was on an insurance claim. He told me he would require any checks from the insurance company made out in his name and I would be responsible for the remainder of the money owed. The business ethics are questionable.

Another entity had already contacted me and mentioned they were affiliated with Owen's. Once Chris Owens contacted me, I realized this other entity was not affiliated with owen's. The phone call was extremely unprofessional and took me off guard. He said bad things about the other entity and talked down to me telling me not to worry that I "did ok." I was not concerned about wether or not I had "done OK". I was simply trying to understand how this other company came to contact me and led me to believe they were with Owen's. I am pleased I did not use this company for my project. He insinuated that I was young and naive, when in fact I am the same age as him, have 3 college degrees, and have had many contracted renovation projects completed on properties my husband and I own together. In fact we own 5 properties currently, and are soon starting a big project to sell one of them. We will certainly not use Owens construction for any projects in the future.

The workmanship was excellent—I now have a beautiful fence that will last me more years than I will own this home. The gentleman that ran the fence construction was just great—on more than one occasion he brought his sons out to help just to make sure the fence was completed in a timely manner. If you find yourself needing a fence this is the company to call.

Mot very well; they are more interested in big jobs like Lowe's etc. Could not get a commitment from them in a decent time frame.

I am very happy w/the work, the work quality and the speed of the work. The only negative was some lack of communication on start date and if or when someone would show up on a rainy day.

This was a small job but needed to be addressed quickly as a storm threatened to drop heavy rain in the next few days. Dustin responded immediately and cleaned leaves and debris from the roof valleys perfectly. He also located a large wasp nest and provided a pest control company contact info to address the problem. Excellent work, super responsiveness and punctuality!
