I was pleased with the process from estimate to completion. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

these people were fabulous. my garage door got stuck in the "up" position, which was not a good thing, because i had to go out later that day and didn't want to leave the garage open. when i first called, the person at their office made several suggestions for ways i could get the door released; i am not a mechanical person, but her instructions were very easy to follow. unfortunately, tho, none of them helped, so she said she would send someone out. they came within an hour of when i talked to their office! they figured out that i had somehow mashed the sensor for the remote on one side of the garage by pushing something into it while i was backing out (i am a terrible backer!). they were there for about half an hour and replaced the sensor, oiled the rollers and the tracks for the door, and replaced the mechanism on the ceiling of the garage that controls lifting/dropping (i am sure that this mechanism was at least 15 years old and might even have been the original mechanism, which would have made it more than 20 years old). they explained everything to me in everyday language (no mechanics jargon) and were very courteous and respectful. everything has worked very smoothly since then. i will call these people immediately if anything ever happens to the door again.

They are excellent. I have used them a couple of times. They are a wonderful bunch of people.

It went perfectly. I called on 5/20/214 and Jim called back within an hour to schedule it for the following afternoon. The serviceman showed up right on time, got to work and was finished in an hour or so. He even tried to program our other garage door opener to the same remote, but it was not compatible. I liked that he didn't try to sell me a compatible one, since the other one is working fine. The garage door opener has been working perfectly ever since. I was thoroughly pleased, and will definitely use Cornerstone Garage Doors again if needed. I highly recommend this company.

The opener was still working but making a terrible noise - so it wasn't an emergency the day I called. I suggested a day a couple of days away when it would be easiest for me to be at home. They made sure to collect information on the type of motor, doors, etc. to make sure they came with the right supplies that might be needed. They called first thing the date of the appointment to give me a 2 hour window for arrival - called when on the way - came within the time frame and set to work immediately. As I suspected the 20+ year old motor needed replacing. The work took less than an hour. No mess was left and everything that had to be moved was put back in place. Very professional, very friendly service. The price was reasonable. I will definitely use them again if the need arises and will recommend them to anyone who asks.

From the time we called til the time they arrived it was an outstanding experience. Very prompt in calling after I left a message after hours. They were very upfront with what to expect once they arrived and laid out specifically in detail what they would step by step. Very pleasant experience and will be using them from now on for any garage door needs

I don?t know where to begin. I can?t say enough about this company. The top panel on my garage door was looking warped and was ending up on the outside of the panel below it when the door closed. The door also made a lot of really loud banging/popping noises when it moved up or down because of that panel. I had three A rated and one B rated companies from Angie?s List come out to look at it. Three of them said the door could not be repaired. And because they thought I needed a new panel I?d actually have to buy a whole new door because the manufacturer was no longer in business. I don?t believe they were trying to rip me off. Two of those three did something very nice for me while they were at my house. I had told them all that I?d been unemployed for a while, finally have to sell the house and I needed to spend as little money as possible. The first actually told me he was not the cheapest because he only used very high quality doors and I could probably save some money if I went elsewhere on Angie?s List. I appreciated that very much. When a nice young guy from the second company found that my wall unit was not working to open and shut the garage door, he got out his screwdriver and wire cutters and fixed the darn thing. He wouldn?t take the $20 I tried to give him for fixing it. How nice was that? (He happened to be from the B rated company which I think should be an A). The third was a much larger company. I had no problems with them, but their quote for a new door was a little high. Then along came Jim from Cornerstone Door Company. Jim was looking at the door from all angles, listening to it, pushing on it, even banging on it. Then he cocked his head and said, ?Let me try something.? He got out his screwdriver and had that door fixed in TEN MINUTES. The panel now goes where it was meant to go, doesn?t look warped anymore, a gap that we were seeing is no longer there and all the noises are gone! After that he automatically got out his spray and oiled the springs and rollers and such, without me even asking. As I said, the other three companies were fine, they just didn?t have the SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE that Jim has. That man knows his stuff. He was AWESOME!!! And to top it off, Jim is the kindest service provider I have ever met in my life. Not just nice . . . very, very kind. This smaller, family owned company was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. When I first called, the woman who answered was extremely personable and immediately made me think that this just might be the company that I want to do business with. She was also very appreciative of the nice comments people were making on Angie?s List about the company. (Speaking of which, thanks to all of those members for your reviews that made me call this company.) I am telling everyone I know to hire this company if you have need of any of the kind of services they offer. Neighbors, friends, family and Angie?s List members. Hire this company ? you?ll be impressed. Thank you again, Jim, for your skills, quality of work and service, professionalism and kindness. You made me want to pay it forward? and I will.

They were great. THey do work for all the box stores too. I would call them for anything garage doors.

They were great and they did a perfect job. They were on time, they were very nice, they covered the things so it wouldn't get dirty, they cleaned up after they did their work and they were professional.

Everything went great. Seems like a good Christian man that explained what he thought i should do and why. He was on time for estimate and when he installed the doors and openers. Cleaned up good and took old doors and openers with him. No mess left!

They were simply tremendous. They were punctual, considerate, cleaned up after the job, and did a wonderful job of installing the best door at the best price. If you have any garage door problems or needs, these are definitely the guys to call. I was beyond impressed with their professionalism and their work!

They were on time, courteous and helpful by offering Options and suggestions. One of the garage sensors were installed incorrectly from the initial installer 10 years ago, so he provided new sensors and installed them properly the way it should have been done in the first place. The other Garage Problem was not as simple. He gave me two options to replace a Circuit Board that had gone bad and HOPED that would fix it or install a NEW unit for about $60 more and KNOW it would work. My current Garage Opener was about 15 years old and he said that they always reccomended new ones for units more than 10 years old. He was very informative and accepting of any decision that I chose. The job was bigger than what either of us had thought. He stayed until all of the work was completed. He met me at 3pm and didn't leave until 6:45pm. He was determined to finish the job and I appreciate his dedication. I would highly reccomend them.

Garage door wouldn't move in response to electric door opener. I called Cornerstone and set up an afternoon for them to come. I was told they would come after 3pm, and they would call me when they were on their way to my house from the previous job. I waited until about 6:30pm and hadn't heard from them. I assumed they weren't coming that day, so I left home to run an errand. While I was out, they called and said they would be at my house at 7pm. I returned home, they made the repair in about 10 minutes. They were very professional and nice to work with.

The garage door opener in our home had broken the bracket that connected it to the top panel of the door. After waiting for a callback from another company for a little over a week, I called Cornerstone and they came out the same day. Not only was the technician friendly, professional, and courteous, he fixed the door and performed annual maintenance in under 20 minutes!!! My husband and I were about to purchase a brand new door and the tech was able to fix what the manufacturer and other vendors said would require a panel replacement!!! I would recommend this company to everyone.

The garage doors were rattling and getting increasingly noisy. We called Cornerstone, which we had used in the past. Jim came out and worked on the doors for about two hours, replacing all the pulleys and springs. These are key parts that, along with the springs, are potential points of vulnerability for garage doors. We asked Jim whether we should replace the doors or the openers. He told us they had life in them yet and even though he could have suggested replacements -- which would have made more money for Cornerstone -- he suggested what was best for us. In the end, the doors are quieter, with less shake, and they are operating smoothly.

One garage door failed with one cable coming detached and the other spinning off its pulley in a mess. I thought it was going to turn out to be a big repair or partial replacement. The guys from Cornerstone showed up on time (on a freezing cold day) and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem in about 15 minutes. Clearly these guys are experts on garage doors and to their credit, only do the work that is needed with no pressure to upgrade or add unnecessary service. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Did a great job...came quickly, worked around obstacles and event fixed a button issue we'd had since we moved in (on the spot and free). Very polite, respectful and great communication.
