+ -1 moreUndersized LVL's X 4. Second story has so much vibratration we feel as if we're living in an earthquake. Now we've discovered the two fireplaces were built incorrectly. The smoke doesn't leave via the flue, but into our home... $20,000, for the 2 fireplaces, and this is what we got???

+ -1 moreNelda is fairly nice to work with, but her husband, Ernest, who is the main contractor, can be a hard person to deal with. There were many communication difficulties, and although a contract was signed, we were told that they didn't have to follow it... Ernest changed the architecture without our consent, and if there was a problem noted, telling him became an argument. It was slightly better to deal with Nelda. Though now our home is built, and although we have discussed some things that weren't up to our specifications, we are being ignored...
Description of Work: Provided land and construction for a price.
