Scott was awesome!!! He takes pride in what he does and he cares He came out seen it needed to be switched out immediately and started. He cares at what he does !! He got everything together and I couldn’t have ask for someone better I would recommend him to anyone

Scott was not the lowest bid on wiring our new house but was the only one up front with total costs for our custom home. He put in the time up front to provide a detailed cost estimate and held to that estimate. He patiently worked with us throughout the project to insure that we got what we wanted in terms of number and location of fixtures, switches, etc... Permitting and inspections went smoothly. Just what I expect from a contractor...experience, expertise, and honesty. He did what he said he would do within the agreed upon timeframe and budget at a high standard of quality. A rare find in this day and age.

Scott did excellent work for us and we will definitely hire him again. He communicated with us promptly at the outset, and continued to do so right up to the time he arrived to do the work. We really appreciated that. He ran into a problem with the sconces because of the improper way the old ones were originally installed but he was able to rework that and everything looks fantastic now. Arrived with everything he needed to hang our chandeliers and sconces and even had a part (a new dimmer switch) that we didn’t anticipate needing so that was a bonus for us!

Scott was a fantastic find! He replied to my search quickly, communicated well about his ETA and did beautiful work. He was informative, friendly and is a really nice guy, too. I am so grateful that he was willing to do our small jobs; it is so hard to find someone willing to do that. If you hire Scott your job will be very well done.

Scott showed up on time with everything he needed. This ended up being a 2-day job and it was a mess that he promptly turned around. His rewires are tidy and professional, his GFCI outlet installs are clean and all working great, and he's a friendly guy that knows what he's talking about. He even did a few things off the cuff that he wasn't obligated to do! 10/10 would hire again

We recently bought a home, expanded a bathroom into another room. Current electrical work was possibly 20+ years old. Wires going everywhere. Scott came in and took out all the unnecessary wires and ran new wires for the electric boxes he had set up for my bathroom. Very efficient and informative through the whole process. Completed in less then a day and a half. Work done without breaking the bank. Would recommend over and over

When I called to ask for an estimate, he was there the same day. I wanted the main breaker box, and the cut off for the heat pump replaced. The estimate was more than double our budget. He then explained that a replacement wasn't necessary, and that replacement of all of the old circuit breakers, and some rewiring would fulfill our needs. His new quote was not only within our budget, but well below it. Four days later he arrived as scheduled, on time, and with all the things he needed. I found him to be very personable, and professional. He ran into some "snags" as would have been expected on a 40 year old house, and explained to me what he was wanting to do before continuing. Even though he had additional work that was unexpected, he stayed at his quote. I not only highly recommend Scott, and Amped to anyone looking for any electrical work, but will make him my first call if/when I need anything electrical in the future.

I recently purchased a home built in 1950, the previous owners had installed a poor quality secondary breaker panel adjacent to the original fuse panel in the early 1980s. Scott came out to take a look and on the same day he was able to plan out replacing both boxes with a quality Siemens panel. The work went by quickly without any unexpected issues. Through the multi day process Scott was in touch by phone and very responsive to any questions I had. He is clearly very knowledgeable on the subject of electrical systems and is a pleasure to talk to. This made the seriousness of the work a very low stress ordeal. I am very happy with the work performed and would recommend Scott for any project.

Our deck was actually a fairly intricate job - Scott was great. He responded to my call at once, and was able to give accurate projections as to when he would be able to perform the work, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. He performed on the level expected, both in timeliness and quality. I found him to be very professional yet also very personable - He's good people. 10/10 will hire again.

We have use Amped Electrical twice. The first time we needed some electrical troubleshooting in our dining and living room. Neither the lights nor the outlets worked. Scott tracked the problem down and had both issues resolved in less than two hours. We live in an older home and knew we needed to have the breaker panel replaced. Scott gave us a quote on replacing the panel and let us know what to expect with permits and inspection. Scott suggested a higher quality Siemens panel that was generator ready and had all copper internals ( which was a no brainer after comparing prices with panels at home improvement stores). Scott kept in touch with us and let us know when to expect him on the install day. He was on time and never left even for lunch. He had the panels swapped and the power back on in one day. We are very satisfied with his work and have plans for him to replace some hard to get to light fixtures and require a three way switch in our hallway.

Went well.... Scott showed as promised,completed the work in about an hour. Scott is very personable and explains what he has to do. Would absolutely hire again...as a matter of fact he completely reworked our electrical box a few months ago.

WOW!!! After calling 3 other electricians to come quote this job (one of which I have used twice in the past), I was getting discouraged. We are redoing a detached tiny house/cottage and were beginning to think it was not going to happen. Then I called Scott @ Amped Electric. He was phenomenal!!! Prompt call back and even though he could not come for a couple days, kept me informed and came when he said he would. He kept to his quote and did such a fantastic job! He was so patient with us and worked with us to ensure the "final product" was not only what we thought we wanted, but what was practical and what we needed. He did TONS of work. He replaced the fuse box, hardwired smoke detectors, added LED lights, and even safety proofed our main breaker box in our house, when he separated the box and added a separate meter to the cottage. This is a small list of the magic he performed on this project. I will keep him on speed dial for ANY of our future electrical needs, big or small. My husband and I truly believe we not only found a great electrician, but a friend in the process! Don't waste your time or money! Call Scott first!!!

Scott was friendly and did a great job. He installed GFCI plugs, fixed "hot" plugs and plugs that needed to be grounded. He installed a light in our basement stairwell and fixed some unsafe wiring issues. He was true to his cost estimate.

I called and left a message. Call returned within 30 min. We agreed on a time for the next day and he was here slightly earlier. Very knowledgeable, very easy to talk to. He did not try to scare me, upsell me, or throw a bunch of jargon at me. I've had several electricians come out on the same project and he was the best. He even deployed a meter and checked actual amperage being used while others just "estimated" (guessed). He told me that we were fine and did not need to upgrade the panel, but did make some excellent other suggestions. I was a little taken by surprise that there was a service charge involved because all the other electricians gave free estimates so I assumed this would be to. On the other hand, he did take the box apart and deploy a meter so it was a lot more than the others did. Overall, we were very happy and feel that we got our money's worth. It was a cheap price (hundred bucks) for peace of mind . . . especially when compared to others who immediately tried to scare us into an unnecessary $4000 (or more) project! I'll trade $100 for $4000 any day. I have already given him a sketch for a future project and we will use him exclusively for all electrical issues from now on.

Scott returned my call expediently. He came when he told us he would and was able to solve the problems we presented him with that day. We had him return to install lights in my husband's workshop and also some security lights. He brought someone with him to help. They were all very polite and considerate and cleaned up after themselves very nicely. His pricing was very reasonable. I would recommend him for any electrical work you may need.

Amped provided excellent service!! There were 3 men who worked for 11 hours to get the job completed in one day. We will definitely be having them back for future electrical jobs.
