It was good. I used them once. The cost was nothing. Insurance paid for it. They came, they did their job, and they left. That's what I like about it. I would say try them. I was happy with them. Their quality is good.

Hired someone else

It turned out okay, but?the glass was cr*p; there were a lot of chips in it. Overall they did a good job. I mean the guy was extremely nice and everything was excellent work. It was just that the?quality of the?glass was?no good.

Service originally scheduled on 5-9 between 12-5.? at 10:30am (90 minutes before service was scheduled to be performed), I received a call from safelite indicating the glass was on backorder and that a visit would not be made today.? No eta was provided for a future service date - only that the glass should be available "in a week or so".? The customer service people were less than professional over the phone. After one week, I finally received another call and was asked to "bring the car by".? I had already explained that the vehicle was undriveable.? Finally, my insurance company selected another provider.?

They were here on time and as scheduled. The service started out ok, but when the service guy started to put the window in, there was no seal in the kit. I had to get the old seal out of the trash and he used a pry tool to scrape the sealer off the seal. He got "most" of the old black caulk off the old seal and put an uneven bead of caulk on the dirty seal. He put it on the window then did the other side the same (uncleaned). He started to put the window on the van and I said "are you not going to clean the door window frame?". He seamed to get upset that I asked him to clean the seal surface! He got window cleaner ? and cleaned it. He was handling the glass and back door with gloves that had black sealant on them, getting it on both. He did attempt to clean it off but did a poor job. He got the check and started to leave and I asked him if he was going to get the glass up in the van and on the ground. He acted mad again and went to the van tossing thing around and I told him to forget it, I'll clean it up and he left. The seal around the window has very raged looking sealer around it that you can see very prominently. It looks very amateurish . I am not satisfied with the job and will not use safelite again. I called safelite and the told me they would have the shop manager call me to address the problem that day. Now, the next day I have not heard from them but did not expect to! I will not use them again and will make sure anyone I know does not use them.

Very good about taking reservations and finding a convenient time for me. Received a discount for taking it into their shop. I was a little early, they got started and finished the job ahead of schedule, minimizing my wait time. The staff was very courteous and friendly. They freely answered many questions concerning how their glass is made, how it compares to "factory installed" glass, etc. Excellent warranty.
