Mr. Bunche did a great job of ending the sidewalk, fixing the ends, patching mortar, and building a bridge. There was more concrete to be removed than it appeared at first, so there was an additional charge above the estimate. He is in demand, so sometimes it takes a bit for him to get you on the schedule.

Everything was great. Rick is professional, honest, hard working and delivers quality work in a timely fashion. I won't use anyone else.

I had called Mr. Bunche several months ago about replacing the thresholds and repainting, which were not pressing matters. We had trouble finding a mutally convenient time for the work to be done. Then a storm damaged a door near my garage, separating the wooden door from from the building and creating a gap. Much cold air was coming in the house and I needed it fixed as soon as possible. I had asked two other contractors to look at the storm door earlier because it didn't close properly and both said the hinges were damaged and there was nothing to do except replace the door. Mr. Bunch had to repalr the doorframe and then rehung the door. He suggested adding a spring and chain to prevent another storm from catching the door. The mortar arouind the door had also been damaged and he repaired that as well. Long story short, this door works better than it ever has-- better than when it was first installed. I am very pleased with the results and with Mr. Bunche's professionalism. He came when he promised and worked steadily. Clean-up was very well done.

I have a couple of minor jobs I need done: installing a new threshold at two doors and painting the trim around them. My neighbors had used New World Remodeling and been very satisfied. I contacted Mr. Bunche and he arrived promptly to do an estimate. Since this is a relatively small job, he was going to perform the work in between his more demanding tasks. This was in late September. The holdup has been finding a mutually agreeable date for the work, since someone will need to be here to pet wrangle. Also, the weather needs to cooperate! I will update the review when the work is done.

I would recommend them to anybody. It was a pleasure to deal with them. He and his wife did all of the work themselves. He is a true craftsman. They did a really great job.

I found New World Remodeling on Angies List and initially had Rick come out and give an estimate on a kitchen remodel job. His price seemed fair so when we had some work that needed to be done on our basement entry doors, we called him. He said he could come out and fix it at the same time. We had agreed so he wouldn't have to make a 2nd trip. I explained that I wanted the rotting wood replaced and new storm doors installed. His quote seemed high, but we had water seeping in so I decided to go with it. I was to provide all the material. He completed the job satisfactory. Why I wouldn't use him again is because he tore up our grass where he apparently skidded while pulling out. He also left tire grooves/ruts where he drove his van in the grass to get to back yard. When he asked if he could do so, I point blank asked if it would leave marks in the grass since it had rained for a solid 3 days. He reassured me it would not. I've tried to contact Rick several times with no response.

Was able to start the project right away. found ways to save me money. was punctual, polite, professional. results were fantastic.
