I had 4 small / medium drywall repairs I needed fixed at my mothers house. After calling around and getting a few handymen to come out and give estimates that where way to high or never giving an estimate at all, I finally looked here on Angie's List and found Mabrys Drywall. He came out, gave estimate within an hour of his visit. I approved estimate, scheduled repairs for the following week. He came out when he said he would. Did repairs, in one day. Even called the following day to make sure I was happy with it. I WAS. And at a great price.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! TERRIBLE WORKMANSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAD PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!! They were supposed to cover all furniture, lighting and floors to catch all the mess. But they left the tops of china cabinet, TV amoire, computer desk and bookcases uncovered and the backs exposed where an unholy mess accumulated for us to clean. The large living room chandelier was not covered and was left with sheets of popcorn ceiling and sanding dust all over it. The spot light covers over the fireplace were not even removed to get that area done. Repair and patching of ceiling wallboard was sloppy and in some places totally missed. There is still an edge of old popcorn along all the beams where they should have hand sanded. The job was supposed make our ceilings paint ready, which they definitely are NOT! To top it all off, instead of covering everything in the bonus room, they shoved a lot of stuff in the closet with total disregard to our property. Looked like it had been purposely thrown in out of spite. They also took several items that were already covered with sheets of popcorn and layers of dust and dumped them on the floor in my wife's sewing room. Total disrespect!! There has been no response from them to my attempted contact. We are still cleaning and trying to put our house back in order. Sorry we ever used them.

Showed up on time, did a great job and was prompt in coming back for second round of finishing.

Mabry Drywall gave me a good price and could have started fairly quickly. My daughters Dad go involved and said he could do it or get it done cheaper. HE Couldn't! I hated that she canceled Mabry but they were very nice to deal with and I would definitely call them again.

If you want someone that does what they say they are going to do, this is the one! Punctual to the second! Arrived ontime and was professional and courteous. The quality was excellent and exceeded my expectations. This guy drove all they way from Williamson County to Millersville and did the work the next day after the estimate was given. It truly was a pleasant experience.

Jerry Maynard reluctantly gave us an estimate over the telephone (at my insistence), although he really wanted to see it before giving us an estimate. Since he had the best estimated price, we then later asked him to come out to look at the work area. After he arrived, he agreed to do the job, based on his price estimate over the telephone. His brother Kenneth Maynard came out each time when the work was to begin with the workers, to make sure everything got started correctly. Kenneth also arrived after the work was done, to check after both stages of the work. A three-man crew hung the drywall on the ceilings in about 2-3 hours. Then later their nephew Phillip came out to do the finishing work. Even though it was not part of the original deal, the hanging crew agreed to drywall the ceiling of the small hallway which goes between the two rooms, since they had extra drywall on hand (at no additional charge!). Phillip took his time to do a masterful job of finishing all three ceilings. Without even asking, he even patched a few cracks in the walls (again, at no additional charge!). Phillip is really a perfectionist! These employees were very pleasant, and and quot;bent over backwardsand quot; to make sure we were happy, and gave us more than we expected! My wife could not be more pleased! We would absolutely recommend this company for drywall work!

I finished my 1100+ sq/ft basement and had Mabry drywall hang and finish the drywall in the area. Jerry came out and quickly got me a quote for the work done. I received 3 quotes and his price was competitive. His crew did a great job. Everything looks great now that it's painted. The only complaint I have is that his crew didn't haul off the scraps of the drywall once it was hung. To be fair I didn't discuss this with him when he was quoting. I just assumed it was part of the bid so some of the blame falls on me. I handled hauling it off.

We contacted Mabry Drywall on the recommendation of a friend who is a contractor, because our living room ceiling was damaged, cracked, and sagging away from the ceiling joists. The contractor told us that the ceiling looked dangerously close to collapsing into our living room and that we needed to have it replaced immediately or braced to prevent it from falling until it could be replaced. Unfortunately, the worst area was right above the couch where we sit every day! The initial call was made to Jerry Mabry on the day before Thanksgiving. He agreed to come out to look at the ceiling and do an estimate on the day after Thanksgiving. Kenneth Mabry came out on Friday to look at the damage and Jerry called with an estimate that evening. Over the weekend, they provided an emailed estimate. They were able to fit us into their schedule to begin the work on Wednesday 11/26/12. The demolition went as planned and the new ceiling was hung on the first day. The hardwood floors were protected during the job and the insulation and debris from the demolition was hauled off. They came back over the next couple of days and mudded in the ceiling and the gap between the new ceiling and plaster walls. The finisher followed with sanding of the textured plaster walls, followed by skim coating of the walls and more sanding. This is a family owned business and both the owners and all workers were pleasant and experienced. They did excellent work and we're very pleased with the way our living room looks. The ceiling is very flat and was finished exceptionally well, so there are no visible seams or marks. We're also very happy that they were able to expedite getting the ceiling replaced so quickly, as it was a very dangerous situation. We would definitely use their services again in the future.

Tell you from start to finish, ok I was talking to my Neighbor about making my garage a two bedroom room she has been trying to get me to subscribe me to angies list for a while, So I became a member and found Mabry Drywall on Angies, i still got quotes from other companies online some wanted to charge me a fee for their estimates. I just saw that they were the best priced and also very patient with me over the phone. So, they came over free of charge and listened to what I want exactly then gave me a free quote and left. It took them 3 days to frame the whole garage and turn it into two rooms then install the drywall and It took about 8 days they worked 8 hours a day. Looks great - totally happy, good people and the owner Kenneth even asked after they were done if I wanted him to paint it for free, I told him no I wasn't sure about the color at the time. So that's how it went and I also wanted to say that I Love Angies List and seriously happy with the membership!
