We had what we felt to be a fairly large project following renovation related demolition of the back yard: including a hardscape paver patio that had to fit around an existing rounded structure, a hardscape raised planter, drainage design and structure, a pond, a flagstone path and an array of sun and shade plantings including trees. Who knows how your intuition works but we were feeling discouraged in our search for the right team until we came upon Crenshaw. On paper it seemed a good possibility with experience and reputation. Once we met with Chris we were comfortable that we had found the right source. We were not disappointed. Chris spent some time to get the feel of the area. He was contemplative, thoughtful, and creative in helping to put our ideas into a plan. He is clever and experienced and has a good feel for nature and surroundings and quickly grasped the natural feel we were hoping for. Knowing how busy landscapers are in spring we contacted him in the winter and were able to get the work done before spring ended. He had a great crew of 5 which included him right in the middle of every detail. It was done the right way with extra touches and done efficiently. The final result was better than we had imagined. The work was perfect and they kept everything clean and not only took good care of the property but added extra touches. It was a large project, but reasonably priced. The quality was topnotch and that along with all the materials, the large crew, the time and heavy equipment needed and all the plantings made it well valued. Chris and his crew felt like family by the end of the project. We would and will use Crenshaw Landscaping for any future needs without reservation.

Chris and his crew were very friendly and professional. Chris listened to our ideas and made suggestions that ultimately proved ideal. The most impressive thing was Chris’ attention to detail and precision from every aspect of the job. He alone laid 95% of the pavers while the crew assisted. To see the plan from painted borders to moving tons of dirt to the finished product was amazing. The drainage was a very big problem for us, but that has been rectified by the Crenshaw crew. Since the job has been completed we have had a few inches of rain and not a single puddle formed. The drainage was pitched beautifully. I would easily recommend Crenshaw Landscaping to anyone that wants true quality that will not only look good now, but for years to come.

Great. Chris and his crew created 2 beautiful patios for us. He was a joy to work with. We wanted someone we could trust, who performs work as if he was at his own home. Chris went beyond our expectations. We will enjoy our new patios for many years to conme.

It was a pretty big project and it took some time to get all the pieces coordinated, but it came together very nicely. We made lots of changes along the way and Chris was patient and calm through the process. He also has great attention to detail, picking up things that needed to be changed without us asking. Felt like he was building it for his home.

The price depends on what I get done. I would give them top billing on everything. I would use them again.

Chris came out for a look and said he would email me with a price. I waited for 3 weeks, called after 2 (I asked if he had an estimate ready and his answer was "no") I have yet to hear back from him. Apparently he was not interested in the work. I wasted 3 weeks waiting for an estimate. I know this is a busy time but seriously! Don't waste your time waiting for this guy. I will find someone who actually WANTS my business. FYI. I have been an Angie's list member for years and have NEVER written a negative review. Apparently this problem is pretty common with Crenshaw Landscaping. I should have read the reviews a little more carefully!

Chris quickly responded to set up a time to get a quote for the work. We discussed what he felt would do well without too much maintenance. Within a couple of days, I received the quote and accepted his bid. He said it might take a few weeks to get the trees, but he was here faster than I was expecting. The work was completed in one afternoon. Everything went well! Chris did what he promised and I would retain his services again. Many thanks!

Chris and his team did a fantastic job, both on time and on budget. We talked about a concept, he designed it, priced it out, and after my changes, agreed to a start and end day. Chris took extreme care to details, from laying out the foundation to competing the last paver. Very Meticulous. I have started enjoying my fabulous patio, fireplace and sitting wall, Great job. Would definitely use him again and totally recommend him, to neighbors, family and friends that are looking for a very good landscaping experience.

He had come out. He had seemed excited over the prospect of the price. He had a death in the family. He didn't even respond. I was pretty annoyed about that.

Chris did an absolutely fantastic job. He paid attention to every detail and was more than patient in dealing with all my little picky concerns. He met with me on several occassions to drive through the neighborhood to look at other yards and to discuss the layout and color of the retaining wall. His workers were friendly and did an excellent job in cleaning up after the job was completed. Chris became more of a friend than a hired landscaper during the project. I would definitely use him again and totally recommend him, with 5 stars, to anyone seeking a landscaper.

Chris and his crew did a great job. We'll definitely be contacting them for future jobs. Our backyard is very sloped and Chris came out and created a plan to give us some usable space at the top of the yard and under our deck. The wood retaining wall looks great and they cut down some very overgrown bushes. It took longer than we expected to get the estimate (1-2 weeks) but once the estimate was in the work was completed very quickly (the next week). The crew cleaned up after themselves extremely well and we even received some unexpected sod that was left over from another job.

Chris Crenshaw did what we asked him to do, when we wanted it done, and for less than his original estimate. He and his crew were prompt, courteous, personable, and professional. I don't have any complaints and will use them again if I have another project.
