I got in touch with john because of a coupon he ran for door tuneups for 99.00. He contacted me quickly and came out a few days later on the day we agreed on and on time. He was very pleasant, very professional, and fast. I manage property and have really come to appreciate those that make my job less complicated and more enjoyable. Blair garage door repair is the type of company I like to do business with and look forward to giving john more work in the future.

Outstanding service! Mr. Blair took my call immediately, understood my problem, and came up with the best solution. He also explained how to secure the garage doors until the openers could be replaced. We scheduled the appointment for the following day (a Saturday!), and he arrived literally on the exact minute he said he would (9:00am exactly). He installed the doors in roughly 2 1/2 hours, explained how the remotes work, and programmed my car's built-in garage door opener. Very professional and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend him.

We had an appointment set with Blair for a couple of weeks later to have a tune-up, i.e., replace the rollers and lubricate the pulleys, but the motor died. We called to see if he replaced motors, and under the circumstances, he moved us up in his schedule, coming out on a Saturday. He was prompt, efficient, and friendly. After all the work was done, including the tune-up, the door only whispers when it opens. We barely hear it. He also cleaned up after himself. I recommend John Blair highly!

We needed new garage door openers programmed for our garage doors. The tech clearly did not like the brand of opener, and did not know how to program it. He left saying he would research how to do it, called the next day to say he would be by the next week and he never came back.

John Blair was a little early for the appointment which I had asked him to be so I could make a noon commitment elsewhere. He was very professional and proficient in what he did for me. Great experience. He will be on the top of my list for future work I may need.

Blair called ahead to let me know when he would arrive and called en route. Unfortunately, I did not realize I have an 8' garage door and he did not have the correct springs on his truck. He drove to Nashville to get the springs and returned within an hour to do the work. Everything was done very professionally and he went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of without trying to sell me anything I didn't need. I couldn't have been happier about the work and will definitely call them back out for future work.

This gentleman was a pleasure to do business with. I was able to schedule the service within a day of contacting him. He arrived promptly and quickly got the work accomplished. He replace the wheels on our door, checked the balance of the door, lubricated the spring, hinges and the new wheels. I will not hesitate to contact him again for service or repairs on our garage doors.

John Blair took my call towards the end of his workday on Saturday, and actually turned around and came straight to my home to repair my garage door. His charge was about half of what I had been quoted by others, and his service was excellent! i would highly recommend him to anyone with garage issues!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went fine; he did a good job. He came when he was supposed to and did what he needed to do. There were no surprises so it was a good experience.

I had purchased an Angie's discount deal of a garage door tune-up, including replacing rollers. The repair required instead replacing a motor part, which was not covered by the deal and for which I paid an extra $50 to meet a non-discounted price. The provider was prompt, friendly, and was able to complete the work on the spot in about 1 1/2 hours.

On 12/23/13 I spoke with the vendor and we agreed to have the service done on 12/30/13 at 10:15 AM. He never showed nor did he call to say he would be late per the agreed upon time at 10:15 AM on 12/30/13. Much later in the day he did call and he did respond to my direct messages thru Angie's List. I just don't have time to wait around on vendors who show up whenever they want to.

He was very professional. Explained the issue and what he was going to do to repair the problem. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and gave an estimate before proceeding. Will use him again if future issues arise.

He came out 12/13 to give an estimate of the repair; the door was stopping and we were concerned the motor would go out. The old door made lots of noise--creaks, groans and slammed at the floor when it closed. We made an appointment for the repair for 12/20 but said we would not be home. Left the old door opener for him inside the storm door and he let himself into the garage. Besides installing a new motor, he put a metal support across the door to stabilize it. It's so quiet and we are thrilled; will definitely recommend him to others.

He showed up on time, was pleasant, professional and did really more than he would have had to.

Mr. Blair was very friendly and helpful. He has been in this business for decades and is very knowledgeable about all aspects of garage door installation and maintenance. It was well worth the money to have a professional adjust the door in order to extend the life of the door and the opener. I will call him first about any garage door issue I have in the future including replacement. Super guy to deal with. Just a great experience. I wish all repair/renovation contractors on Angie's list were as skilled, knowledgeable and friendly as Mr. Blair. You won't be sorry, call him.
