The company was recommended by a pool service company. That pool professional, who is very responsive, said this company could fix an emergency. After leaving 4 very detailed messages over 4 days (they don’t respond on weekends, FYI, but voice message indicates they answer the phone 7 days a week), they did not return my emergency messages (we were out of the country with a renter in the house). We finally got someone on the phone that said that she didn’t quite know what she was doing because she had not been trained and that someone would call us shortly. That did not happen. We reached out again and got a hold of the manager of the company and she did not have all of the information that we had supplied repeatedly, told us that we had not given her team our email address (as though we refused…they never requested it). They only wanted to communicate through email and she was quite short with me and told me that it would be at least three weeks before anyone would be able to even consider working on our pool. If you have a leak with water rushing out of the pool, I am guessing you need it fixed quickly. Evidently the owner of this company has created a culture that does not foster good customer service, well trained employees nor communication that could solve issues effectively and efficiently. If you can’t reach them and leave a message, be aware that they do not respond. 4 messages in 4 days….hmmm. Pool Leak Company has been recommended and seems to have a less “corporate” approach and has an owner that seems to be accountable. Good luck!👍

I was a little concerned about using them due to their up front policies. They seemed very rigid and everything favored their company. Also did not really seem to guarantee their work, depending on what the problem was. The minimum charge would be $500 and it must be paid in advance in order to schedule the work. As a result of all this, it felt like I was taking a risk. When the technician showed up my concerns disappeared. He was very professional, thoroughly inspected the pool, line, pump, etc. He also assured me that things would be taken care of, etc. He fixed the problem and advised me to check the pool for the next week and let them know if there were problems. I did not need to call them back. I was very satisfied and would not hesitate to use them again.

It is nice to have someone like that recommended because when you need it you need it immediately. It is nice to have it just in case. We have had the problem more than once. It was one guy who took 3 hours to complete the service. He found it. He told us. He warned us. He charged us. He told us everything, so nothing was hidden or disclosed. It was taken care of and we didn't have any recurring leaks.

They temporarily fixed it for the rest of the season, but may last longer. They also sent us an estimate for a permanent repair. Two people came out and took about two hours to survey and fix the leaks. They did good work; were very efficient. They knew what they were doing and came highly recommended by Angie's list and our local pool guy. They showed up when they said they would, the person in the office responded to my call with an email - communication was good and they called before they showed up like they said they would. I appreciated them being honest with me about doing the temporary fix, which saved some money.

They are excellent. He just couldn't have be kinder and fixed the leak, and it hasn't knock on wood, occurred since.

They came quickly, almost immediately, they dove in very, very cold water, and they found and fixed several major leaks in my pool. They didn't charge me the whole amount quoted on the phone. Since they didn't have to do as much detection as they could have, the cost was much less. For basically emergency type promptness and for the uncomfortable work they did, the cost was very fair. | |I have paid much more for a lot less work.....

They were recommended by the company that fixed the water supply line. I called them and they came out 2 days later. If it’s difficult to find the water leak, they’re worth the money even if they are expensive. The job was only 2 and a half hours and yet it cost me $400. They are good and they know what they are doing. The guy walked the entire length of the line and dug out the area to identify if indeed that was the location of the leak. The quality of their work was excellent.

It went fine, Victor stayed on it until it was fixed.

They did a good job. They came prepared to find leaks and were very courteous. However, I still think we have a small leak in our return line.

I needed to locate my water line between my meter box and house in conjunction with another project, which was already mid-job. American Leak Detection was able to accommodate my short lead time, and came out when they said they would. They have an inductive underground pipe locating tool and made short work of the job. (some water utilities will help a homeowner locate their water lines, but the one that serves us will only trace from their main to the meter box, not the line to the house).
