I dealt with Ronnie Osborne and he is a nice guy and did a free estimate and the price seemed to be ok but the quality of the driveway is horrible. I have a 1000ft gravel driveway and had him do the area in front of the garage and about a 150ft section at the end on a sloped portion. The work was done in a timely manner and I had no issues with the workers. My problem is with the quality of the driveway. I have some experience in installing concrete foundations in the military so I understand the process and what the end results should be. There are many low spots in both sections and this allows water to pool and there is already damage to the concrete from this. The edges are rough and still have residual concrete on them that should have been knocked off. They left dried concrete on the ground around the outside edges. The forms were placed on the wire mesh and this pushed the wire to the bottom of the concrete when it should be in the center for best strength. I found this out when I was laying rock along the sides for drainage and noticed the wire sticking out a couple inches at the bottom. I also remember noticing that they weren't using hooks to pull the wire to the middle as they poured. The section at the end of the driveway is so wavy and bumpy that a good gravel driveway is smoother. The corners are already breaking off in about a 1 ft portion so it's obvious that they didn't reinforce them. The relief cuts are not smooth but chipped and ragged looking. Bottom line is if you want it done cheap and don't care about quality/attention to detail go here but if you want it done right go with someone else.
