Excellent craftsmanship. Very informative and able to turn ideas into reality. Extremely easy to work with and always kept the communication and updates. Quick and hardworking that do great quality work. Go above and beyond with their jobs and are honest. Carl did not play the inflated price game as so many around do and was right on the money with his estimates for supplies needed and labor time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

They did a nice job installing insulation and drywall in about 1300 sq ft of living space that had gotten damaged by a sewer backup. The also painted over the entire surfaces and ceilings with Kilz because I wanted to be sure there would be no mold issues returning. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled away their trash. They were respectful of my property and were very pleasant. My dogs fell in love with them. I don't know why others had less than great experiences but I had a wonderful experience with them. I certainly would recommend them. While the price was a little higher than I had budgeted, they supplied all of the materials so that made it worth it.

They showed-up; did what they said they would do; Finished on time; Excellent quality work at a fair price I am a retired "mechanical contractor." Worked in the building trades for 50 years. Yes.......I would hire these men again.

They did great hanging the drywall, itâ  s an old house & some of it was complicated, but the finish work was very sloppy. I text him for 2 wks that there was so much sanding & smoothing up that needed to be done, finally someone showed up & I showed them the problems, they sanded a little, said theyâ  d be back tomorrow & never came back. Iâ  m having to pay someone else to fix all the mess now.

I had to spend an additional day sanding and smoothing the repaired drywall. It had large lumps and waves.

Carl was great. Showed up exactly when he said he would, did great quality work.

I have suggested to them that they vacuum the carpet after they are finished. There was good use of plastic draping but it didn't catch everything. Otherwise I would have given all 5 stars. They did add extra work when we discovered we had omitted an area that needed to be fixed.

They had to come 4 times to finish the job and when the painters came a week later and painted the plaster started to come off.

We hesitated to write this review. The owner and the 2 guys that were here, we're nice. We felt like if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. However, after all the work WE had to do after they left, here it is. The project was drywall in our living room and hallway, knockdown in the bedrooms and bathrooms, paint all ceilings, paint living room, kitchen and hallway wall. Timeliness- the owner Carl showed up on time and gave us a quote quickly. The first day the owner Carl, and 3 workers showed up at about 9:30am. Carl left after a couple hours. The 2nd and remaining days were just 2 workers. The job was quoted as a 4 day job. I believe the work could have been done in 4 days had they showed up each day at 9. Instead most days it was between 10:00 & 11:00.upon arrival was a 15-20 minute cigarette break. Work 45- hour and another break. Work 45 minutes, 1 1\2 -2 hour lunch. Get back from lunch and a 15-20 minute cigarette break. And so on. You get the picture. We got about 3-4 hours of actual work each day. Prep and cleanliness: We knew this would be a messy job. What we weren't prepared for was us having to do most all the prep work. That became apparent after the first day. No drop cloths or covers were used. Cleanup was awful. I called The owner and left a message that they needed plastic or drop cloths when coming back. We didn't receive a call back so the next day we lay old sheets, blankets and drop cloths to mitigate the damage and mess. They did bring a box of plastic with them (WE used most of it ourselves). There was almost no taping off when painting either. The paint cleanup was horrendous. Quality of work: drywall- I had to mud and sand MANY areas that had bumps, chunks, drywall lines and just not finished. They painted over this. Ceiling knockdown - expected they would have taped the board lines/joints on the ceilings. Apparently they didn't as we can already see the lines and cracks Yes, it looks much better than it did. Painting- we had to do a significant amount of follow-up painting. Areas just plain missed or only one coat in areas, some areas were never cut in. Our 4 day project became 6 days. The last day they were determined to be done. They arrived bright and early at 11:00. Only took a 1 1\2 he lunch and stayed til around 8. They stated they would be finished today, weren't coming back. With our frustration and wanting it to be done and the dimming light, we couldn't see all the unfinished or poor work. We've been working hard patching and painting. It is looking good now. I am sorry for this poor review. The owner and the guys were nice. We just wish whoever showed up for the 5 star reviews had come to us.

He does great work I will use him again if I need to.

Second time I have used this contractor and have yet to be disappointed. Their pricing was considerably less than other contractors and the quality of work was great. I will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Arrive early and stay late as needed to complete day needed tasks. Attention to detail - willing to work to please client. Reasonable prices for quality work. We are completely satisfied and would and will recommend Carl Richards Dry Wall This company is the most dedicated and conscientious company we have ever dealt with. I trust them, they communicated well, and did a "fine" job finishing an entire 12x15 room in two days. I think they could have taken a little more time with "details" such as finishing around wall sockets and light switches - but yes, I'd hire them again.

Carl Richards drywall is an excellent company. They have integrity in their workmanship & are willing to help in all construction needs. A great crew worked on completing our kitchen in a very timely manner & we will be hiring them to remodel our master bathroom in next 6 months. Thank you Carl Richards drywall!

No show, no call, no follow-up. Wasted time and schedule.

Company was prompt, communicated well, and did amazing work!! They truly saved us from having to drywall our entire house ourselves! We had 3 companies give us quotes before we found Carl Richards Drywall and all of them were over $10,000...it was unbelievable. This company did amazing work quickly, and professionally, for less than half the cost. They even apologized for other companies trying to take advantage of us! I will most certainly calling this company in the near future when we complete our other builds and need drywall done!
