Best Choice Roofing

Roof leaks. Have called several times. I am 75 and too old to get on my roof and fix it. There are exposed nails. I have water spots on my kitchen ceiling. I am going to pay someone to patch it even though it is under warranty for 5 years.

First off, they seem really nice. I found out after doing digging that these guys are all 100% commission sales guys who sell roofs for the company. They just travel and make sales. Not a big deal, but you are not dealing with a family business or even a business who has a real on the payroll representative. Just a guy selling roofs- who by the way doesn't know anything about roofs per se. He's just a sales guy. They use a skymeasure program to measure the roofs (ask them about it I thought it was bs when they told me that but I talked to another roofer who said same thing) so the sales guy doesn't have to. So...it took 10 days on one roof to simply get the estimate. After I received the estimate it was to be 7-14 days before installation. 14 days came and went and at about day 18 they said they could get it installed. At 18 days, they texted to reschedule. I had asked for a copy of their insurance, and they gave me some subcontractor copy of roofing insurance. NOT THEIR OWN! They don't even has business insurance! They are simply an additional insured on some subs insurance policy. What a sham! Mind you there is no local office number here in Memphis- they don't even have branded email! The email addresses they use are a hodge podge of personal gmail, hotmail and other random email addresses! What? No local office number? Weird...ok. That tells me there is no recourse for a problem or a main line to talk to to folks. Ok. At 18 days (which actually was more like 30 bc of the time we waited before actually getting them to say they had "been to house") I said "no go guys" and canceled the contract with them. After reading on the BBB about them-this is how I think they work: 1) They find insurance related repairs 2) They sign roofing contracts- collect the insurance check day of contract signing 3) they delay if not fail to install roof altogether They hold your money for an indefinite period of time until their 1 roofer becomes available to install your roof. YOu could be screwed. Lucky me, I had one roof for them to do that was not insurance related, and I discovered their plans via waiting for an authentic roof to get installed! My guy said from the beginning to run like ****- and I didn't follow it. Lucky me I escaped unharmed. If you read the BBB reports, so so so many have not.

It was completed, start to finish, in one dyy! Counldn't believe it. The workers were polite and friendly. All questions were answered to my satisfaction. I would recommend them to anyone needing a roof.
