Airgo was sent by my home warranty to fix my air conditioner. They had to replace the unit. After they left it made horrible noise all night and didn't blow cold air. I called them back the next day to fix what they were supposed to have fixed. They ran a NEW drain line to a stopped up pipe and in a couple weeks my wooden floors, carpet, and wall was flooded. They said they couldn't come check it out for a week. They were to busy. Fast forward 3 months and my air goes out again. I contact the home warranty and they send another company to fix Airgo's mess. The entire unit had to be replaced again because they screwed up the installation so bad. The new tech that came out pointed out so many things they did wrong that would void my warranty, it blew my mind. So now im out $1000 for my deductible to repair my floors and wall. Plus have to have my ENTIRE inside and outside unit replaced for a second time in 3 months. Three weeks without air in July in Mississippi is not fun. Stay away from these guys.
Description of Work: They replaced my complete unit inside and out. Screwed it up. Had to have another company come out and replace the entire unit a second time 3 months later.

After the Airgo tech left after the second visit, I called another company for a second opinion. The service tech responded the next morning, not days after my call like Airgo. He checked both units, and said there was a leak in the newer unit, which he repaired. He said the second unit was 22 years old and said that because of changes in freon regulations and parts availability, he would advise on replacement. A new unit including installation would be around $3500.00. A week or so later, I received a call from Airgon. I was advised that the warranty company had approved the replacement of the coil. Airgon said that the charges for the service not covered by warranty would be $1100.00. I contacted the warranty company and found out the part would cost $190. and they would pay Airgo $100. for installation. According to the warranty company, Airgo indicated that the faulty unit was 10+ years old, not 22 years old. We purchased the house seven months ago and were told that the unit was original to the house which was built in 1991. The $1100. charges seemed questionable. The tech's failure to indicate the proper age of equipment made negotiating with the warranty company extremely difficult. It has been over two months since the original call, and my best option was to settle with the warranty company for $300. and go elsewhere for services.
Description of Work: Airgo tech was sent by First American Home Buyers, a home warranty company. The first trip was in June. Tech said the air condition units were low on freon and said that was the reason the units were not cooling properly. Tech said the coils needed cleaning also and said the home warranty would not cover future claims if routine maintenance was not performed. I agreed to the service, which was a bout $120. out of pocket. The cooling problem was not fixed and another tech was sent to the house. He said both units were low on freon and that the evaporator coil was bad on the upstairs unit. He referred it to the warranty company for approval. He also indicated that the part would cost around $1800.00.

I called my home warranty company back before Thanksgiving about problems with my heating unit. Airgo called the next day to set up my appointment. They came out that next day no prob. Fixed what he said was just a loose bolt. Well almost two weeks later my heating unit started making this screeching scary sound like it wanted to blow up. Called the warranty company back and the had Airgo call me again said I wouldn't be charged again since they had to come back out. Took off from work on a Wednesday and sat at home all afternoon waiting. No one showed and never got a phone call to say why. Called the next day and had to leave work early to meet the same guy who came the first time. He looks at it and takes the blower out of it. One of the fans had broken. I asked how long to fix it. He said it depends on if the part is in stock there or if they have to order it. He kind of blew me off with an "I don't know " and left. After over a week of no returned phone calls about the status of my repair, I finally got someone friday. So instead of getting to go visit my family as planned, I got to stay and wait for someone to come out and finishing fixing my heating unit. No on showed and no one called. Im still waiting and once this is all done I will never use them again!
Description of Work: They are suppose to replace my blower in my heating unit.

I placed my request thru my Warranty Company Saturday morning. I didn't hear from Airgo fro a few hours so I called them because I wanted an appt. scheduled. They said the soonest they could be out was Tuesday between 1-5. They came out and said the motor was broken and that the office would call me. Didn't hear from the office so i called them. They hadn't heard from the Tech yet, so they didn't know what was going on, but they would call me when they did. No Call. I called them again and they said the part was ordered, so I made an appt for Friday 1-5. The tech came out and then told us the part he brought was broken. He said he would be "right back". I called the the tech who called me and sid they were 30 min out earlier that day...and he said he didn't know anything because another tech handled the appt with the new broken part. I then called the office and they had no clue as to what was going on. I wanted them to hurry up and order another part so at least I could get on the books for Monday. The office said they had to talk to the tech and they would call me back. No call. I called the home office in Memphis and asked for someone who could help me get info and they gave me an email...but I sent 2 emails to that address and no response. I called Monday to see when my air conditioner was going to be fixed and the girl said the dispatcher was at lunch. I called 2 hours later and the other girl said the dispatcher was at lunch. I no...she was at lunch earlier. She said "..the dispatcher just went to lunch". i told her I needed to know if I had a new appt. and she looked on the record and saw one for Tuesday from 1-5. They never told me or asked me if this was ok. i guess everyone has 4 hour windows they can constantly have open to wait for service!!! The tech came out tues and fixed my air 10 days later. The communication between, techs, office and clients is HORRIBLE!!!
Description of Work: My Warranty Company (That is why I only pd $60.00 which is my deductible to them. I do not know the whole bill.) assigned Airgo to fix my air conditioner. The outside motor was broken. I placed my request on Saturday 7/21/12 and the job was finished on Tuesday 7/31/12.

Airgo came to our house 6 times and still has not fixed the problem with our A/C unit. The technician (Randy) provides good service and try’s to fix the problems. However he gets in over his head and has to call the chief technician to fix the problem. We had to wait on average a day or two for the chief technician to come to our property. The front office at airgo is completely useless the women or should I say incompetent girls do not know how to provide good service. A number of times they just said we have to wait for XY or Z. When we call Randy he tries to help but the scheduler in the office controls his time instead of managing his own calendar. In fact on our sixth call one of the woman said it would take a week to get a technician to our house for a recall. Overall if you have a simple repair job airgo is fine but otherwise avoid them like the plague.
Description of Work: Airgo replaced our thermostat 2 times first time was the wrong type and second one was correct. Airgo changed the fuses and replaced the freon in our unit. Airgo rewired our unit. Our unit has started to smoke and 6 weeks later our AC still does not work.

Late Monday evening 3/20 the fan in central air started screeching. Submitted service request with homeowner insurance at 9 pm that same evening. AirGo called me Tuesday morning before 8:15 to schedule service call. The technician actually called me 2 hours early to see if he could come earlier than scheduled. It took him 5 min to diagnose the problem and told me he would have to order the part and he would be back the next day between 1 & 5 to replace the part. At 3:30 on the 23rd the technician called and arrived within 30 minutes. The motor was replaced within 15 minutes. There was no mess, no fuss, and completely professional.
Description of Work: Replaced central A/C fan motor.
