Air Go

This was a disaster, and made me realize how cheap warranty companies are to hire, most likely, the cheapest contractors they can find to save themselves money in pay-outs for warranty service. Originally spoke with someone who appeared to be knowledgeable and provided information on how a warranty exchange would work. Even though I had a warranty that states it covers an entire HVAC system they still drummed up about $1200 in costs they claimed were not covered by the warranty. A few days later the system was delivered and two very young guys, barely looked 21 did the entire installation Never saw the more knowledgeable, older technician or owner again. They couldn't have had much experience, and this became evident when the heat stopped working within a couple days. They had to come out 3 times over a short period to solve problems with the original install - not running, not heating, tripping breakers. Then summer came and cooling function wasn't working properly and required a service call. Then next winter came and required more service calls. I finally stopped calling them after I could no longer get a hold of anyone and started using a reputable local company instead. If you happen to get these guys from a home warranty call, refuse their service real quick and demand a more reputable company from your warranty company! Air Go is apparently on our home warrenty's "premium" list, but is not accredited with the BBB and is from Brighton, Tennessee. I live in Madison, Mississippi! Air Go never showed up for the first appointment time and told my home warranty company that I wasn't home! They finally showed up on February 21st (4 days after the original call!) and identified the part as a relay, but now they have changed their mind and said it is the ciruit board. This is impossible, because the unit is too old to have a circuit board! Air Go will never answer when I call, but when my home warranty company calls, they answer right away. They claim that they are waiting for a part to come in from somewhere, and I am stuck waiting. Today is 3/10/2014 and Air Go has not contacted us nor have they repaired my air conditioner. American Home Shield continues to work with this contractor that will not provide any status to the repairs of my home air conditioner system but gladly took my $75.00 home service payment. UPDATE : On 3/11/2014 a Customer Service Representative by the name of Ronna took charge of my situation and released AIR GO as my contractor. She then dispatched my repair work order to a company called A/C SPECIALIST and APPLIANCE from Richland, Ms. that morning. I received a call from Paul Wallace (technician) after lunch and met him at 5:00pm. Paul quickly dignosed my system (less than 5 minutes) and replaced the faulty thermostat...that quick. Special thanks to Lonnie (owner) of the company for excellent service and quick responce. I highly recommend this company for their quick responce, excellent customer relations, and fast repair service.

We were set up with Air-go by our home warranty. They were able to come out promptly but after the reviewed our system to see what was wrong. When they ordered the part that needed to be replaced, they apprently received the wrong part from the home warranty facility so that delayed the fix for a couple more days (no air during June in Nashville....not a good thing). When the correct part came in they fixed the problem of needing a new evaporator coil and leaking coolant......or so we thought. As colder weather started coming we turned on our heat....and nothing...NO HEAT AT ALL. We then called our home warranty place again (had to pay another $75 deductible) and when the new company came out...it was discovered that Air-Go had disconnected our heat. The vent pipe was disconnected and they cut lines they weren't suppose to AND the new evaporator coil that they installed was also leaking freon. I couldn't believe the poor work that they had performed. If I have to call our home warranty provider for anymore heating and air work...Iwill advise them NOT to send out Air-go!!!!!

Air go was the company that responded to our request for service through our home owners insurance ($75 copay). They called the same day and were able to come out the very next day. They came prepared and were able to fix our system the same day. They also responded to a problem we had this winter (our fan was not switching on and off with the heating system) and were just as excellent. Would definitely use them again.

Air Go did an excellent job. Pickup up the HVAC unit from the contractor that canceled my installation (see my other review), and arrived and installed the unit as they said they would. The two gentlemen that installed the unit were professional and courteous. They ran into a duct problem and had to leave for an hour or so to get the correct parts. That was an unforeseen problem which I wasn't charge extra for. Clean up and removal was done very well. They did an excellent job.
