Description of Work: I needed a patio enlarged. I got a message in June that someone would contact me shortly. Never heard another word from them. Had to go with someone else who did the worse job I've ever seen. Now I have to find another company to come out , assess the problems and tell me what they have to do to fix the mess of a patio I have. I've been instructed to get several opinions/ estimates but theres not that many listed here. One company, wiggington, didn't even come look. Just called to say you probably have to rip it out and start over. I'm so frustrated. This is a plain concrete patio.

I also noticed you published a negative review against another concrete company on AL that didn't complete the work either, regarding your patio. So i can tell it's a sore subject. Your info is only showing your first name and last initial so I cant do research into why you didn't receive a quote or if we had it. We wish you the best of luck and hate you had a bad experience with the person you hired. (I need to emphasize that Storey Concrete did not do this concrete job.)

I completely and utterly disagree with this review. Quite frankly, I'm astounded by it. I need to emphasize that the customer got a FLAWLESS driveway addition at about a 75% discount. There wasn't one thing wrong with the finished product. The customer purchased a Big Deal which included 100 square feet for $699.00. The driveway addition was around 250 - 260 square feet and based on my notes, there was an additional $1,100.00 owed upon completion of the project. She disputed the bill saying that we only agreed on an additional $699 upon completion. I made the mistake and didn't get a signed contract so it's possible there was a misunderstanding on the front end. I'm a firm believer in the "customer is always right" so I adjusted the final bill to reflect this amount. Customer satisfaction always comes before your profit margin. The former has a direct result on the latter. Once I changed the invoice to reflect the reduced amount, the customer still disputed it and hasn't paid the final invoice to this day. So this was the main issue with this project. The second issue was a freebie I offered when we first met. The paid portion of the project was the driveway addition, but there was one section of her existing driveway that had settled around 3"-4" (inches). I told her we would take a look at it and attempt to fix it while we were there working on the driveway addition. Once we got on site, we noticed that we simply could not jack up the section of driveway without damaging the section so we did not do it. When the customer got her final invoice she said that we were supposed to jack it up and if it broke the section, then we were supposed to replace it at our expense. What it boils down to is the customer received about $3,000.00 worth of concrete work for $700.00 and still decided to file a negative complaint on Angie's List. We've been in business for many, many years and we know that you can't satisfy every singe customer. It just comes with the territory, but I am shocked by this review considering the great quality she received and the basement price she paid. I respect her as a customer but disagree with her review. Description of Work: I had my patio extended to add 12ft X 16ft. The patio looks great and is very functional. There was a delay for install due to weather that had gotten them behind so I did have to wait a while for the install. Chris was good about keeping me informed of when he would be able to get to my patio. I would certainly use Chris and his team again.

Description of Work: Replaced circular portion of driveway. The entire process from initial meeting to final inspection went exceptionally well. It was a pleasure to do business with Chris Storey. He thoroughly answered any questions that I had and addressed all concerns. They repaired and restored the irrigation, outdoor lighting, and landscaping that was effected by this project. Description of Work: Storey poured and washed a patio about 12 foot by 40 foot. WHEN THEY arrived they went right to work and finished within three days. The concrete team worked verywell together. Chris responded to emails quickly. The rain was the only issue we had to work around. We selected a pea gravel, black limestone wash and we are very pleased with the outcome.
