+ 1 moreAlthough they treated the tree multiple times they were not successful. They were paid for the initial treatments, I withheld payment for the final treatments as it cost me substantially more to have the tree removed and replaced. They have hired a collection agency in the past and hired another one this month after 4 years!!!
Description of Work: They were hired in 2013 to treat the tree in my front yard. I was assured they would get rid of the insects that were damaging the tree.

+ 0 moreLawn Solutions basically did a "No call, no show." I was home most of the morning and afternoon, and I had my fence unlocked, just in case someone did come to do an estimate. They did not even return my voice message. I felt that was very unprofessional.
Description of Work: I called for an estimate on my house for lawn treatment. The person that answered the phone could not give me an estimate over the phone, due to my yard having an odd shape. He stated that someone would come to my house the following day to give me an estimate. No one came to my house for an estimate. I even called the company at 2 PM, but no one answered the phone. I left a message for someone to see if anyone was coming today or the following day. I never received a phone call.

Description of Work: Treated my lawn with herbicides and fertilizer. Told them that I did not want the dry fertilizer application. Still had a lot of crab grass, called them back 6/5 to re-spray. |After the first treatment, lost a Red Honeysuckle, not sure if it was coincidence or over spray. |Everyone I talked to was very nice and did everything I asked. |Will continue to us them the rest of the summer.

+ 0 moreThey were very reasonable and they did an excellent job of explaining their services to me. They gave me the option to pay in cash, check or credit card. They have a prepay program which I will do next year since I switched to them in mid to end of the season. They have come back out to reinspect my grass for a mole problem and they even emailed me a helpful little guide on how to get rid of them. They are very professional and courteous and so far after one treatment my yard looks a lot more healthy and green, even after just one application. I am glad that I switched to them and have left Herbi Systems and will stay with Lawn Solutions for a long time.
Description of Work: I contacted them regarding their lawn program and their tree and shrub program. I also had them spray for grub worms and a fungicide for my zoysia grass.

I am also happy to know that they provide 7 treatments per year versus 6. They do offer a 5% discount if you pay for the whole year in advance. I am pleased that I have become a customer!!! Highly recommend.

+ -1 moreWe have been with Lawn Solutions since they started out.in 2006. With all of the various lawn care companies in the area that should tell you something right there. Back when they first started, Brandon personally came by and treated my yard. He even came by periodically to just check on it. It is early March 2013 as I write this and you can tell which yards in my neighborhood are taken care of by Lawn Solutions, they are the ones with NO, Zero, Nada green weeds growing. Several of my neighbors use other firms and they all have weeds right now. Over the past 6 years, I have had very few problems and when I did I would call the office and they would have someone out here within the next day or so to fix the problem. I have never had to call twice about the same problem. We started using the tree and shrub program about four years ago when I got too busy to keep up with it all myself. They do a great job on keeping the trees and shrubs looking great. We have two dogs and just started using the flea and tick program in 2012, again when I was just too busy to keep up with treating the back yard. I did find a few ticks on the dogs last year but I think it was because of two reasons, we had a warm winter last year and I let the dogs get out in the woods a few times.
Description of Work: We subscribe to the annual lawn care program which consists of the following seven applications of which we just received the first one: Early-Spring: Balanced fertilizer with broad leaf weed control and crabgrass pre-emergent. Late-Spring: Balanced fertilizer with broad leaf weed control and crabgrass pre-emergent. Early-Summer: Balanced granular fertilizer and post-emergent weed control. Mid-Summer: Balanced granular fertilizer and post-emergent weed control. Late-Summer: Balanced granular fertilizer and post-emergent weed control. Early-Fall: Balanced fertilizer where needed with preemergent and post-emergent weed control. Winter: Post-emergent weed control and granular lime application. We also subscribe to the tree and shrub program which includes the following seasonal treatments: Early-Spring – Dormant Oil application to control over wintering insects such as scale. Late-Spring – Tree and Shrub fertilization. Early-Summer - Survey landscape to detect disease and insects for treatment when necessary. Late-Summer - Survey landscape to detect disease and insects for treatment when necessary. Fall - Survey landscape to detect disease and insects for treatment when necessary. Winter – Tree and Shrub fertilization We started using the flea and tick program in 2012.

+ 0 moreI was referred to Brandon from our neighbor and have had a great experience. I needed to replace our old lawn company and Brandon returned my call right away. He gave me an estimate on the lawn treatment and answered all my questions regarding the tree in our front yard. I was able to email pictures to him to further explain the problem. He then came out himself and diagnosed the issue and sprayed the area to help bring it back to life. He also advised me on other problem areas that he noticed. He spent time with me on the phone and listened to my concerns. I felt that he wanted to earn our business even though they are very busy right now. His expertise and professionalism are top notch and I'm very happy we are going with Lawn Solutions for our lawn and tree service from now on.
Description of Work: Lawn Solutions sprayed pre-emergent on our lawn to keep it green and help control weeds. They also diagnosed a diseased tree and sprayed it with fungicide and sprayed the other trees and shrubs with fertilizer.

Last year we had a problem that would not clear up and I called him. He was out here himself the next morning to look at it. He told me that the gentleman would be back two days later and he was, at 9 am, just as he said. His prices are fair. We had used someone prior that we were not satisfied with. We have recommended him to three people who have bought his services. We will absolutely continue to use them.
