The end pieces of wood were reattached and the sagging problem fixed. More bolts were added to other areas of the deck than were mentioned in the estimate (no more money was asked for). The deck was made much more strong than the original builders had made it. Very happy with the prompt service and the knowledge of deck construction. Would highly recommend this company,

It was not a good job. Some of the pieces were not nailed down adequately. The rail was higher than it should have been. The spacing between the vertical columns was too wide. The concrete was done poorly. At the bottom, where the wood goes across the deck, was not level. It was just a mess! The owner was in a hurry because his son was leaving for college. It was not very professional.

We had a laid back conversation. The salesman was friendly and very knowledgeable. He asked us lots of questions to get a better understanding of what we looking to build. He showed us numerous examples of his past projects and what he could provide to us and the price he would charge us. It was a great initial meeting and he gave us lots to think about for our new porch and screened in covered area of the porch. He is a nice man and good products he could build or provide to us, but it wasn't quite what we were looking for and how if would blend in with the rest of the house.

Mark responded to our bid request very quickly and provided us with an estimate about a week before we hired him. We had gotten bids from several local deck building companies. Not only was his price competitive, but his work comes with a lifetime warranty. Unlike many of the estimators we had met with, Mark was able to determine the size and pricing on the spot. He also made recommendations to accommodate a large magnolia tree we have growing near the location of the new deck. The crew of about 6-8 arrived promptly at 7 am. Even though there was inclimate weather in the forecast, they worked steadily through spotted showers until the job was complete. They even managed to be finished before flooding began around 3 pm. After they left the area was clean, the old deck had been hauled away, and the new deck was beautiful! Mark is incredibly knoweldgeable and it shows in his bidding and his work. We plan to use him again for future needs.

They gave me a lifetime warranty on their workmanship. I did not have to wait very long for the work to be completed. They were very personable.
