Excellent service from the initial call to the work completion. Bret Rainer and the entire team of adjusters and workers were punctual, knowledgeable and professional at all times. They worked with the insurance company and kept me informed though out the process. The workers worked in excessive heat to complete the job and cleanup in one day. The quality of the end product is awesome, I am very please and highly recommend them

Wesley Terry provided phenomenal and rapid service from the quote, dealing with insurance company, and replacing entire roof. He was extremely professional and the quality of work was outstanding. Interfacing with the insurance company was easy and the crew was incredibly respectful. They completed the entire roof ~4000 sq ft in one day. No roofing nails found in yard or drive after either. I would highly recommend them.

In 2015 I contracted with Brian Elder Roofing, found using our Angie's List account, to do a partial roof replacement. This was an area not affected by other parts of my roof. They came and tore off all the old shingles, put down a barrier, and replaced the shingles. In less than a year, my roof was leaking again. Over the next 4 years they have been slow to respond but have tried to repair by replacing shingles. I still have a leak. When I contacted Mr. Elder a couple of weeks ago after a heavy rain and more leaking, he was confrontational, rude and totally unprofessional. Told me he would come out one more time to try to fix the leak..if that didn't work, he would have to charge me for a total roof replacement. He told me the problem was my decking which apparently won't hold nails..I don't know, not a roofer, but if that's true, it should have been addressed when they tore the old shingles off and replaced them. I signed a contract with them with a 7 year warranty against leaks. Since our last conversation, I have heard nothing from him nor has anybody been by to see what can be done with my roof. I'm sure he has satisfied customers who swear by him and his company, but with my experience, I would say that's because there were no major problems with the job like with mine. I held off writing this review, but after my last conversation with Mr. Elder when he tried to bully me into accepting what he called facts, he deserves this review.

I left a negative review just over a year ago about the questionable business practices, and awful job done. Just to give an update.. i now have a section of shingles sliding down my roof... my guess is they were not nailed down... avoid this company.

Our roof was paid for by our insurance... all we owed was the deductible and the upgrade to Architectural shingles ($8,000 project and we paid $1,500). The crew was fantastic. Cleaned up after themselves very well. The 7 year “No Questions Asked” warranty was THE reason we went w Brian Elder. Highly recommended.

It took a while to get scheduled, but I believe it was worth the wait.

They did a wonderful job. They did a very good job. We were very pleased with them. The clean up, just the overall service was excellent. They cleaned up everything, there was not much left other. They just did an excellent job, they truly did. They were in line with price with everyone else, but they were a little bit better.

He was a nice guy. A real nice guy. He worked on someone's house about 3 or 4 down from us. He just happened to see that their were some shingles that were off. He just stopped by, he was not trying to push anything. He said, I just want to let you know. I went and looked and was like Oh my goodness. He said, here is my number. I said can you fix it. I don't want them miss and matched. He said let me go see. He did and did all that. He fixed it for like $50.00, If he hadn't stopped, we would not have known. I would use him again. At least I know a roofer that is honest. If he had not stopped.

Not sure they follow ethical business practices. I feel like my roof was rushed. After completion I had several concerns about the job done, but I was told "its normal" and "its fine" one issue they did agree needed to be fixed, and that some one would be out soon. I was also told a "quality control' person would be out to make sure a good job was done and to leave warranty papers. A month passed and no one showed up. I called and they said it would be fixed the next day. Been several more weeks and I have heard nothing... no quality inpection, no warranty papers, and no fix to the problem we agreed was the problem. No messages answered. Its been almost 2 months.

Contractor made contact. We developed a plan. The workers showed up on time. They completed the repair quickly. The price was fair.

He was good. He came and set material on our door. I will absolutely use them again.

Phone was answered and I left a message with the lady with all of my contact info and was informed someone would contact me within 24 hours and setup a time to look at my roof. Three days later no call so I called back and was told they had been very busy and they would get with me ASAP. It's now been 14 plus days still no phone call.

See above. They gave you 100% attention through the whole process.

They were excellent from Day 1 in handling the insurance claim and even the paper work with our mortgage holder. Special credos to Paul & Robert and also Wendy in scheduling. Many appointed dates had to be rearranged due to weather but Wendy did a great job. The roof is outstanding and will add value to my house.

After receiving no reply to my email after several days, I cancelled my request. Work was not performed. The contractor did attempt to contact me, but it was after I had cancelled the order.

They coordinated claim with my insurance provider, including roof inspection with the insurance adjuster. All interior damage was repaired and the entire roof was replaced in one day. Workers were professional and grounds were cleaned after the project. Quality Control inspected the job on the following day.

The estimate for this roof leak repair was ridiculously high - $900! Although it was apparent that the quy was very knowledgablIe, we decided to get someone else to do the job. The fellow was extremely nice and professional but his estimate was much too high.

I telephoned a representative last week and the main office on Monday, Aug. 24th. No reply and it is the 26th. I telephoned, again, today (two weeks after the last call) and was informed that the representative was no longer with the company. No explanation was given why my second call was ignored. They say they will rectify the situation and someone has already contacted me.

The roof work was completed, and as far as can be determined, was well done. There was a problem with a portion of the fascia work. A rotten piece of wood that should have been replaced was left in place and covered with a board that left a hole partially exposed. Also, going thru Angie's List, I should have received a repair credit. I called the provider (3 times) to let them know that I should have received this credit. I have not received it as of yet. The provider was promptly paid as services were rendered. I expect the same consideration when I am due a refund. My customer service experience has been less than ideal. The provider has decided not to honor its promotion as stated. It also provided an inaccurate response when it stated that I would be sent the $100 for which the promotion called. The company refunded me $49, which is less than half of what was expected. I decided to go in another direction with the fascia work. I am very disappointed in this company's lack of ethics in this matter.

They did the work exceptionally, got finished in one day and the quality control guy came and did further clean up. I had no issues with the work and the roof looks great!

Will never again use this company. Brian has terrible customer service. Paul came out and did some repairs for us a while back, all but one of the leaks we repaired. 2-3 weeks ago I called Brian back to see when they would be back out to fix the one spot that is still leaking. He wanted to send out his insurance adjuster out to see if it was something we could claim (whole new roof) or if was just repair work. He deemed that it would simply be a few repairs and that he would schedule out Paul to come back out. 2 weeks no one showed. Called back and left a message for Brian, 5 days with no return phone call. So I called him back today?. Brian - ?Im sorry, I never got back with you Mr. Gordin, however I don?t think there is much more we can do for your business.? ME - Im sorry can you please explain that, it is just a leak (which I have already paid you for) and some shingle repairs. Brian ? ?It is just a little to far for my guys to get out to you in Southaven? ME ? Are you kidding me? They have already been out here twice, and for that matter we are 10 minutes from the Memphis City Limit. WILL NOT EVER RECOMMEND/USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN

It was great. He was there on time, assessed the roof, found the nail that was causing the leak and finished within an hour!
