My neighbor had used them for some work, that’s how I found them, and the person’s name is Justin Carris. We had tornadoes here last April, and they took out about five of my trees thirty feet from my house, and put them in my neighbor’s yard. I used someone else to remove them because I had a moral obligation to remove them, though it was not my legal obligation. I decided to have this pecan tree taken down because the winds now in this part of the country are terrible, they have never been this bad before. Had the tree fallen, it could have fallen straight back onto my house or onto my neighbor’s house, and I did not want to take a chance on that tree falling on my neighbor’s house, so I had it taken down, and I paid to do it. It was inside a fence, so they could not get any of their equipment in there that they would normally use to do a job that size. They had to take part of my fence down so that they could drag the pieces that they cut over to my neighbor’s house, and put them in the trailers in her yard. They had to carry everything about forty or fifty feet over to their trailer, and it was an enormous job. I was satisfied with the price because of what they had to do, he said the tree was at least ninety feet tall. I have a three story house, and this tree just towered above it. He brought several guys out here with him, and they had all the proper equipment. I can imagine how dangerous this job was, they had to be careful with everything, and not tear other parts of my fence down. Also, there was a dogwood tree in the area which needed to be protected and when they left here, they didn’t even leave a stick in the yard. He only charged me a minimal charge for taking down the other four smaller trees because he said since he was already here and he had his trailer here, he would do the whole job. I have already recommended him to somebody else who hopefully, is going to use them in the next couple of weeks.
Description of Work: I used Carris Tree Service to remove a living ninety foot tall pecan tree, and also to take down four smaller trees.
