STERLING WINDOWS

I called to make an appointment for an estimate. Sterling Lance Jr called me back and said he could come on Thursday between 2 and 3pm, I agreed. Tuesday he called at 3:20 and said he was running late and he was 45 minutes away, if it would still work with my schedule. I agreed. He came collected the information he needed. He stated his company did not make the half round windows need but he had a supplier that did but he would need a couple of days to email me an estimate. I called him on day 3 after no reply via email. I ask when I could expect an estimate. He replied, "I told you I would need a couple of days." I responded it was now day three. At this point he cut me off and stated, "you need to go with someone else, I don't need customers like you and hung up." I would not let this company install windows for me if they gave the to me for free.

We give 5 stars to Sterling Windows. We had 4 windows on the front of our home along with capping our half moon windows. They are beautiful, very well matched our existing trim paint. They were installed and completely finished in about 6 hrs. The installers were friendly, professional, and stayed on point. They arrived when they said they were going to and did not goof around. They answered all our questions when we had some. Clean up was excellent. Mr. Sterling is a very nice gentleman to work with. His prices are very affordable!! After getting quotes from Pella, Champion, and Anderson, his quote was 40%-50% less. He was recommended to us by someone else who had used him. We researched reviews for his company on Google, Yelp and Angie;s List. All were excellent. We highly recommend his compnay. We will use Sterling Windows again in the future for other window replacements. In addition, one of our neighbors has now decided to go with Sterling as well.

This is the second time using Sterling Window Systems Inc. The first time was for three Provia entrance doors and this time for the 31 windows. Sterling Lance's company has always provided excellent products and service at a very reasonable price and I would highly the company to anyone seeking doors and windows.

The entire removal and replacement process went extremely well in a period of six days. Sterling Lance Jr. was extremely helpful in explaining the various options available, including selection of colors for the inside and outside of the windows. His pricing, including the repair/replacement of any sills and frames, was very reasonable and a fair price. We requested a specific crew for this removal and installation as they had done a previous job for us nine years ago on the installation of a completely new window through a brick wall. Our prior excellent experience with Sterling Window Systems nine years ago for the removal and installation of three exterior doors was another reason we chose this company and their product.

I was surprised that the installation crew was just one man but he did good work. He seemed to be knowledgeable about his work and intent on getting the job done . He was very courteous. He left the work area cleaner than I expected and even cleaned the windows. I think he could have done more to make sure that the interior window frames and trim were sealed. I fixed these small problems myself after he left.

He was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, measured every window, gave a very reasonable estimate for replacing the windows in my house.

Great they came in and got the job done in the time specified. The crew was great and they knew exactly what they were doing.

We are extremely pleased with Sterling Windows. Our entire experience from the very beginning went smoothly. Sterling Jr. was very informative and helpful through the process. Our windows came in when he said they would and the following week they started the install. Thankfully for the installers the weather was nice that week (mid-January). They started the install on Tuesday and the project was complete on Friday. The installers were very detail oriented, maintained a clean work site, and took great pride in their work. Their work ethic and integrity aren't something you see everyday. They are proud to work for Sterling and had nothing but great things to say about him and his company. As for the windows, they are great quality. The very first night I could tell a difference in the temperature in the bedrooms. We received quotes from two other well known companies and Sterling Windows is of the same quality if not better. We absolutely could not be happier with our purchase or experience. We have already recommended this company to two people and we will continue to recommend them any chance we get. Highly recommended!!!! We are very pleased with the windows and the service. They look great, did a good job, and were priced very well. The company completed all the paperwork for us to get the rebate from the Electric company. We will use them again.

A family owned business seemed appealing and they had a few other options that were available to us.

Sterling Lance, Jr., a principal in the company, was personally involved in all aspects of the work. He pays attention to detail and wants everything right. He was here for much of the installation, even working on one and quot;problemand quot; window himself. Overall we are very happy with the quality and installation of the windows, and we appreciated the professionalism of Mr. Lance.

They were fantastic in every way.

There was nothing that I didn't like about the experience. I liked the company and the fact that it is local and based in Tennessee. It looks like a solid product. It is just that they didn't have the style that we were looking for. They were certainly very professional and their price was within the market price. It is a good company. The only reason we didn't choose them was the styling. We saw one elsewhere that we preferred.

This was a wonderful and successful experience. Owner Sterling Lance, Jr. provided outstanding personal customer service in the evaluation and selection of products, the review and discussion of possible installation issues (which later materialized), and was personally present for the entire installation process by his highly qualified installation team and he did a lot of the work himself. Sterling Window Systems pricing was very competitive with other companies offering the identical products. The evaluation and installation of the new french doors resulted in a unique problem for which Sterling Lance brought in the ProVia Door Company area representative from Chattanooga to assist in resolution prior to ordering the new doors. Neither of the individuals had seen a unique installation of french doors as done by the builder of our home. With their dedicated assistance we were able to order and install the new doors just as they came from the factory without any modifications. We were very pleased with the attention to details that Sterling offered, such as keying all three new doors and one existing door, that was not replaced, to one key.

Everything went fine. William finished the whole house in 8 working days. Very pleased.

The installation crew was professional and performed the work on-time. During the selling process, it was easy to get Mr. Lance on the phone. After the installation, he was hard to find when I had a problem operating the windows. He did come back and fix the problem with the window, but only after a neighbor, who also had work done, witheld payment. I am satisfied, now, but wonder if I would have ever heard from him without the witheld check. . . .?

I was very pleased with the services provided by Sterling Windows. We shopped around for price and found that Sterling's prices were competitive. The quality of the windows and siding is excellent and our home looks great.

I think Sterling Windows offers great workmanship. The final price was exactly the same as the estimate. They cleaned up before they left. I was glad they disposed of the windows for me.
