A-Way Stump Grinding & Lawn Care

Michael has a tractor with a stump grinder on the back and a bucket on the front. After grinding, he used the bucket to level the area and then raked to get big wood chunks. Two years ago we had a stump ground by someone else and it was a mess and cost more. Michael is definitely the way to do it. We got quotes this time from others but none of them had the "rig" like A-Way's and Michael's pricing is competitive and his finished product is so much better. He is very personable and knowledgeable. We feel so lucky that we found him.

I recommended him for Angie's List. When he came out and did the initial stump and tree removal, it was a rainy wet day so he couldn't get all the roots. He called us up about three or four weeks ago to check and see how things were. He came out and finished grinding the root that he had missed last year at no extra expense. It is an individual who is in business for himself, an older gentleman who's used his own equipment. He felt that he was not able to finish the job the first time so he came back and finished it. The only problem is that he is so far away. He was in the neighborhood in May doing other jobs when we first got him. That's why we went with the other company for a couple of other things. A Way was quite a distance and it would have cost him too much to bring all his equipment.

They were punctual, courteous, professional, and I would highly recommend them to others. The price was excellent- It averaged about $35 a tree.
