Description of Work: This firm built a beautiful metal fence to replace a wooden fence built by Champion Fence which rotted within five years. They had my estimate within a day and showed up when they said they would. All of the workers were friendly and professional and the quality of the work was excellent. The quality of the materials was also wonderful, as represented by Mr Blair. This was a very satisfying experience, especially following the prior disappointing work done by Champion Fence.

Description of Work: This company was oneof three (from Angie's List) that submitted estimates for a farm-type fence of three boards with wire backing. Terry could not give me a ballpark figure even after walking the "course"; he mailed it in several days later. It was quite a bit higher than the other two estimates (which were almost identical) and I called to tell him that I had contracted the job to another company. He was friendly and clearly very experienced, but I got a better (and faster) deal from Champion (whom I would strongly recommend).

Description of Work: Installed 540-feet of 4-foot high black vinyl coated chain link fence with four gates. The contractor cemented all post in two foot holes drilled by a 6-inch auger. The contractor mixed the concrete in a cement mixer. The contractor did not simply pour dry concrete mix into the holes as some fence companies will do. After the post were set the contractor let the concrete set for two days to harden sufficiently. I appreciated this as it was fairly chilly in January and the concrete needed the dry time. While the concrete was setting, the contractor built the gates at his shop where all of the gate components were welded. On the third day the contractor was back and installed all of the fencing which included a tension wire running along the fence two-inches from the ground level and "hog tied" with special clips every 2-feet to the fence bottom. This is to keep the bottom of the chain link fence from bowing should you accidently swipe with a mowing machine and to keep animals from digging through/under your fence. On the fourth day, the contractor returned and installed the gates and touched up the fence with paint in a few areas where needed.
