 + -1 moreBorden's responded very quickly and professionally--arrived well within the designated window within approx 24 hours; service call plus a total of approx 20 minutes of repair work resulted in immediate diagnosis and a very reasonable $92.00 bill (I didn't think anyone made a house call for less than $100 for them to simply enter your house, much less make any repairs). I definitely recommend Borden's for large appliance repair, either for us again or for a friend.

 + -1 moreThe defroster in the freezer had gone out causing a freeze up cutting off air flow to refrigerator Problem diagnosed immediately and defroster replaced quickly which ,after defrosting and clean up, returned the unit to working properly Charge was very reasonable and over all experience was pleasant
Description of Work: Call answered promptly. Borden's told me exactly the time frame to expect serviceman Gordon came in analyzed the problem and proceeded to repair 13 y.o. GE side by side much to my surprise and satisfaction Working better than it has in years

 + -1 moreOriginal appointment time was changed with plenty of notice and wasn't significant (30 min.). Repair time less than 1 hour. Great not be frig shopping!
Description of Work: Frig wasn't keeping items cold enough but freezer was working fine. Tried everything myself that Bordens recommended over the phone but still no joy. Repairman quickly found the problem with the frig/freezer (bad defrost thermostat) and repaired it in same visit. Freezer coilers were a block of ice and blocking cold air flow to frig. After defrosting the freezer manually, therepair is holding up to the summer and the frig is fine.

 + -1 moreSince I cannot cut and paste some of the above statement, therefore I suggest read the above statement.
Description of Work: They came right over to replace the heating element which I suspected was not working. After removing the heating element housing we noticed the housing was also burned and cracked. The service personell did not have the housing with him and told me he will find a used housing because a new housing cost a bundle. He came back with no extra charge and he did it within the next business day. After it was fixed my wife ran the dryer and found it was not working properly. I called again and he came back in a few hours and replaced a unit on the housing (other than the heating element). it is now working good we have a 20+ year old machines and still runs good. another unexpected bonus for me and my wife is that he knows a little American Sign language that is used by deaf people. Because of that me and my wife are both deaf. That is the bonus for us.

 + -1 moreWhat I like best is that they do not have a set price, just to come out like most companies. They only charge you what they think is fair and never anything more. There is no minimum size job. They will do large or small jobs anytime. They are always very friendly and trustworthy.
