White Oaks Flooring, Tile and Wood Restoration

This company exceeded all expectations! The owner and Master floor Craftsman came to the house and did a great job! He exceeded all expectations! Professionalism, knowledge about tools and wood being used exceeded all expectations! He was very prideful and professional with his work with replacing damaged 85-year-old Oak flooring in the living room. The outcome exceeded our expectations! I will be hiring him for other projects! Worth every penny!

Randall estimate was less than competitor, he was able to perform the job a week earlier than competitor ( critical because we wanted done before furniture was delivered.) He meticulously cleaned up every day. He was professional, kind, respectful and was great with our pets! Would hire again without reservation!

I don't even know where to begin with the debacle of work the owner Randall did at my home. Randall was hired after supplying a detailed contract of what the job would entail. The ONLY thing that was done according to his contract is he got paid EVERYTIME he ask me for a draw. I was so foolish to believe this man I even paid him in full before he finished my job. His last request for money came in the form of "do u trust me" What kind of professional question is that. Apparently I did trust him. He got paid in full and I never got my job finished. That was in Oct. In November he finally agreed to reimburse me for the unfinished work. It is now Jan and I have not been reimbursed for a job that this contractor began, changed the entire contract scope of work and stole my money. Randall was very unprofessional in his conversations about his prior jobs and how most of the men he did jobs for were threatened by him because their wives were physically attracted to him. His unprofessional conversation and lack of integrity to make his work right was unnerving and quite frankly repulsive and scary. My job began in Oct. It's now January. Randall has yet to do what he was paid for. I waited to write this review in hopes he would rectify the mess he created in my home. I would not trust his work ethic or his conduct as a man with female home owners. In my many attempts to contact Randall I would be ignored or hung up on. As I write this I can not believe there are people who own businesses and won't do what they say they will but will still take your money. My 1ST mistake was not verifying his references. In an after the fact investigation it appears I'm not the only customer that couldn't get my job finished by Randall. Beware of this company

Our experience with Randall was terrific. He was very personable and professional throughout the whole remodeling of our shower and he always cleaned up before he left. That scored big with me. We signed a contract that stated he would be completed by 8/13. there were several days that he did not show up. On the days he did show up, he did not show up on time, would take long lunch breaks and leave early. He did not complete the job. when he messaged me to say the job was complete we came home to find the cabinets not fully painted, missing paint in areas, appliances covered in paint and scratched up ( took almost 12 hrs. to remove paint from microwave and some is still there) , Cabinet hardware not re-installed.

I have just moved to this area I did know any contractors. Fortunately we found Randall and his company. I would recommend this comapny to anyone he does exceptional work very conscientious goes above and beyond to satisfy the customer. He did multiple jobs for me and all were done with care and precision!

Beautiful craftsman work. Friendly and Professional. Easy to work with especially since I added extra projects in. They were patient with me and helped prioritize what needed to be done first. Gave great suggestions.

At first, Randall was great. He gave good advice and we contracted for floors in two homes, for which I paid $3800 in advance. Later we mutually decided not to do the larger job but to focus on the smaller job. The cost of this job was ~$3,100 but I told him to just refund me when we settled upon this job, and he agreed he owed me some money. He advised us in purchasing tile and grout for the bathroom flooring and he told us this would make a beautiful floor. We had to leave town for a family emergency the week he was to work on the house. We had enough confidence in him to give him a key and just get the job done. NOTE: The contract called for refinishing wood floors and installing tile, and he stated a week would be plenty of time. We checked back with him via phone from time to time and all seemed to be on track albeit much slower than I expected. When we returned, the floors were a mess. The wood floors had a large amount of dust that was covered with poly. Even though he has a disclaimer in his contract for this, the dust was excessive. Also, the tile grout cement or something left a residue all over the floors in the master bath and in other areas. I called him several times and left messages and left text messages but to no response. I even called the tile company with whom he partners to see if he was ok. This was such a change we were concerned about. Finally, after that, he sent a text and he told me he had to shut down his business because of the virus but was back in business. Regardless we agreed he would stop by and look at the house but he had to finish another job. Then he did not show or call or respond to 9 text messages or respond to 4 voice mails. Then we got a call and he was finishing up a job and would be by as soon as that job was complete - and that would Friday or Monday at the latest. Did not show and its been 2 weeks... and did not respond to daily texts and voice mail or email, messages. Nor has he provided a check in the amount of $720.00 ... the difference between what turned out to be full payment+ in advance ... and the contracted cost for the job he did on our house. So now we have $1500 in tile installed with a residue that we were told might come up with a special cleaner or scraping with a razor blade. we are out $720.00 in addition to the cost of cleaning up his mess and $1500 if the tile is damaged. This was one of the most disappointing experiences we have had with contractors - esp. contractors whom we had trusted to the extent we trusted Randall. All in all, Randall seems like a great guy, and he was helpful at first. Then he apparently decided to write us off, and that is very disappointing. We tried to be the most agreeable customers he could have ... too agreeable when it came to money. NO!! I would never use him again. He was great in the beginning but failed in the long run. Now we have to consider further steps. Not what we expected.

I hired Randall Harrison to rebuild my bathroom floor. The previous contractors had done such a poor job that Randall had to take out the flooring down to the joists, bridge them, replace the plywood and install the viny tile. Two years later the floor has held up wonderfully.

Randall did a complete gut and remodel of our master bathroom. With the exception of the cabinets and countertops, he did it all. The bathtub, tile floors, and new shower look great! This is the second time I have used White Oaks. Just as before, Randall came out when he said he would and did a great job of communicating our options and any changes or delays to the project. I never worried about Randall trying to upsell or take advantage of us, and I trusted him to be in the house while we were at work. Overall, I am extremely pleased. Randall did a great job restoring our hardwood floors. He came out when he said he would (rare for contractors in my experience) and treated our home with respect. Randall was very thorough in explaining the process of what he would be doing, and checked with us at every step to make sure we were pleased with the work. He had great suggestions, and I feel like he tried to save us money wherever he could. In the end, our floors look beautiful and the experience was smooth. We have had lots of compliments on how everything looks. I would certainly recommend Randall if you are looking to have your floors restored.

Randall installed a backsplash in our kitchen as the final step to our remodel. He was very helpful through the entire process beginning with where to buy the tile and design suggestions. He worked with us so we could stay within a restricted budget, made sure the right amount of product was purchased and handled a return of damaged product. Installation was done over 4 days as it was explained to us in the beginning. He arrived each day as he said he would, respectful of our schedule and worked diligently to completion. We are pleased with the end result and would not hesitate to call him in the future if we decide to do more renovation.

Randall was very professional and thorough. He did a beautiful job tiling my bathroom floor. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I would highly recommend this company. Randall is a true craftsman, the professionalism, skill and attention to detail he demonstrated through out the job made the whole experience less stressful and more enjoyable. Thanks to him my new house feel like home.

I originally hired them to refinish my floors,however the contractor suggested other work should be done before they redo the floors, which I was in the process of getting estimates for anyway. The contractor said he could also do the other necessary work for me. He gave me a great quote and did an absolutely marvelous job. They will be doing my floors in the near future.

I hired Randall to refinish the hardwood floors in 2 bedrooms. When they sanded my floors they sanded against the grain and I have lite and dark streaks all over the bedroom and closet. When the shiny stuff they put on the floors dried, I noticed I had paint roller streaks all over my floor. My husband called him and he came back to our home and looked at it, and promised to come back and fix the floors....that was at least 3 weeks ago and no Randall.....The estimate he gave me was 1200 dollars, but he did take off 200 dollars because he knew I wasn't happy. I believe though that for a 1000 dollars it should be perfect....I am sure he will respond and make up some story about how wonderful the floors look, however I will be more than happy to show you the estimate Up Churches Hardwood gave me to fix the mess....Hopefully I can at least get 1/2 of my money back to put toward getting them done right.

Randal did a great job for us. Excellent quality work and great communications. We will be calling him again for more work.

I had contacted several other repair companies who had been unable to do the project I needed done. This company completed the job in a very timely manner at a good fair price.
