+ -1 moreAfter hiring several companies to assess and/or fix various issues in my older home, I have discovered how difficult it is to find competent and honest workers these days! This is the first company that I have found who delivers services the old-fashioned way...what a breath of fresh air! Both Patty and Jim are very knowledgeable/friendly and the work performed was exceptional. My new HVAC unit had to be installed by a certain date and they made sure that it was completed on time. If I were you, I would look no further for your heating and cooling needs; it will save you a lot of time and expense. I highly recommend this company!!

Description of Work: Installed gas line and connection for new stove (27' of pipe), serviced 2xHVAC units, and re-plumbed kitchen sink. Jim called me on the phone the day prior to the work to confirm the details of my service request, address of my home, and service call time. He showed up on time with two additional crew members and got to work quickly after walking through the house - a foreclosure that had been sitting unoccupied for over 6 months. He and his crew answered all of my questions confidently and professionally went about their work in a clean and efficient manner. They showed concern for getting the job done right and took care to protect the flooring and cabinets from unnecessary damage. Although the HVAC units had obviously been sitting without any maintenance/concern from owners for quite some time and I was expecting some repair work based on physical appearance of units, Jim provided candid assessment of their condition and conveyed his surprise that they were in great operational shape despite their rough external appearance. Honest, timely, respectful and competent - I'd recommend them to any friend or family member who needed an HVAC or plumbing expert.

I was so impressed because he could have had a field day charging me all kinds of money because I didn't have any idea of what I was doing. They were very good, very friendly. He is a very honest gentleman. I recommend him to everybody.
Description of Work: I used A2Z Heat & Air for heating and AC repairs. We had to have our entire upstairs heating and cooling unit replaced.

+ -1 moreEverything went very well. I was so impressed i did refer them ot other people. They not only did the job cheaper than anybody in the area they also did it faster. When doing they work they noticed that the wiring was set up incorrectly and they fixed it at no extra charge.

+ -1 moreIt went great. We had just got back from the hospital with our newborn, to find our heat was coming on. I called and he was there within a hour or so, and had us up and running. Great people
Description of Work: This is the second time we have used A2Z Heating. The first time, our unit was turning on. We first called One Hour and they came out in about 3 hours. Then they tried to say I needed some replacement pieces and labor(about $800). I call the local parts store to see if I could get cheaper, and they recommended A2Z. He came out and found a wire was loose. Heat fired right up. Very professional and was explaining(showing) me all the parts of my AC unit. Will continue to use him.

+ -1 moreI originally contacted another company and they were unable to do the repair properly. A2Z properly diagnosed the problem and I haven't had any other problems. They came-out after business hours and didn't leave until everything was working properly. He is very responsive and fair in his prices.
