Their place is in a large garage behind a home on Prairie Circle which is out behind the airport so it is definitely out of the way. Due to the nature of their business, there is no reason to be anywhere else. As a woman, I was a little intimidated by two guys in a mechanic's shop. They were very pleasant and accomodating, however one of the fellows went through the motions for ordering the part, but on a second visit I was told that he didn't complete the process and the part was not ordered. I was not happy. I was about to leave when the mechanic told me that he could fix it right then and there. He grabbed the right filter for my mower and fixed up the mangeled cover or air filter holder with duct tape! I paid under $5.00 for my filter, no charge for the duct tape fix and I was happily on my way. But my experience was hardly worth mentioning compared to the real work they do which is repairing and overhauling large expensive rider mowers and mowers of all types. They may shift in the winter to other types of mechanical work but I do not know this as fact. The two mechanics are very busy judging from the amount of equipment they had there and the complex work they were doing. I was referred there by an associate at TSC who told me they are a little out of the way, but they were the best in the area. I agree.
