Barry Construction

This home is still a work in progress, located in Sturgis South Dakota. Darrell Berry has basically taken over a job-gone-bad from another builder. From restructuring poorly designed dormers to correcting structual flaws. After backing into the bad work, has made great progression. Harsh winter has hampered progress and a defined completion date is pushed a bit to the right. Warmer weather has really helped lately, allowing much of the external work to be accomplished. He setup an electrician, HVAC and drywall sub-contractors, all cost saving inititatives. His knowledge of structural integrity has been a god-send. Previous builder made some very serious errors in building load-bearing walls, all of which Berry Const has repaired and corrected. Trusses from previous builder were not true or centered, again Berry repaired. Biggest issue that was overcome was the dormers, both of which have been redon to my specs. Latest issue deals with poorly sealed wall (by previous builder) allowing water to enter. Berry is excavating the immediate area and installing new drainage along with the proper size aggregate to allow water to flow away from the structure. All in all, his structural knowledge is really turning a poorly built structure into something that will be proud to live in, all for a very reasonable cost. As stated, this is a work in progress, I just wanted to take the time to get Berry Construction on the map so others can captitalize on his expertise. I will amend this as time progressess.
