It went very well. Ground was broken first of the year and my home was completed by mid-April. I knew what I wanted but was not good at putting it down on paper - semi Craftsman style. Open concept living/dining/kitchen. Rather than the traditional three bedroom/2 bath, I wanted 2 bedrooms on either side of the house. Guest bedroom to also be used as an office as I work from my home. I did not want to waste space with a hallway to the master bedroom but rather it open right off of the living space. Brad and his office manager, Angie, were extremely helpful when it came to trying to pick out the cabinets, baseboards, etc. They knew what I was envisioning and were able to show me styles that went right with my vision. Their crew of workers were also helpful and very nice. The carpenter, Shawn, is an exceptional craftsman and created beams for the exterior gables that others are now looking at for their homes. Shawn also took my window seat and made it a focal point with his craftsmanship! That window seat and the stone fireplace that Matt put up are the focal point of the open living area, and, so they should be!!! I would highly recommend these folks to any one! They are kind, patient folks that put up with old ladies with all sorts of questions and needs for help in understanding the process. And I truly believe they are the best in what they do!!!!!
