Merry Maids of Sioux Falls

I paid Merry Maids a $500 deposit several months ago, and have scheduled several appointments. Nobody from MM has ever shown up to any of the appts Now they’re not answering their phone, and their voicemail is full. Tried the national line, it only has an option to put in a zip code to be directed to the local branch. Tried texting national for help, it’s like talking to a wall. I have texts starting back on May 19 and no reply from MM. I didn’t realize Merry Maids was that hard up.

Did a great job. A piece of blind was bent and broken off. They'll be returning Friday for their second cleaning.

Horrible. I bought a 12 month cleaning package for them, from Kelo Spotlight, to clean my house and was always completely let down every time they cleaned. Not only do they not move anything when they are dusting, but they break things and leave it for you to find. I had to call after many cleanings because they would completely skip all cleaning of the basement, not clean anything in the bathrooms, or to figure out where missing decorations went because they broke them and took it with them. The string for the blinds on my sliding door somehow broke when they were cleaning and I had to pay $70.00 to get it fixed, so much for paying to have my house cleaned. Today, they broke my picture frame, it would be nice to have a note left on the counter. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

We booked this service based on a Kelo Spotlight. They have gouged several pieces furniture and have refused to take care of it.

They cleaned the basement and the upstairs of the house. Basement cleaning was OK, but not thirough. The clay glasee from the bathroom was missing after they left. Whne they cleaned the ustairs, they missed alot and I asked them to come back to complete. At Chrismas, my brother nticed an antique plate was missing. I cancelled further visits and requested they return the key to the house. I've never recived it. Since then I also have not been able to find some Silver plates my parents received for their 25th.

The quality of the cleaning worsened with time. If I didn't complain, it seemed to give them "carte blanche" to take advantage and just "breeze" through my house. The dusting was particularly pathetic, with the furniture either left dusty in the back (I guess they didn't think I'd notice), or if they did bother to dust, items were completely scattered--not returned with any care whatsoever. A total waste of money each month. I could have done the same quality of cleaning in around an hour, instead of paying almost $100 per visit.
