From the initial call asking for an estimate to the cleanup after the work was completed the whole experience was exceptional. We received two estimates and it was clear that, based on the specs presented that Juranek would build the better deck, but their initial estimate was quite a bit higher. They were willing to come down in price and offer a more competitive bid. Once we agreed on the cost they completed the work in a timely manner. The crew was great and they cleaned up everything at the end of each work day. We now have a deck to be proud of. I would never hesitate to use Juranek Home Improvement for any construction project and I've already recommended them to my friends.

No detail was missed, the installer was a real professional. The service and workmanship was the best I've seen in this area.

I obtained 3 estimates, one from Craig Thomas Construction for $6200., one from Integrity builders for $7000 and the third from Juranek for $20,600. He came with a big book of photos of sunrooms; I told him I didn't want a sun room I wanted a deck replacement but he wanted me "to see what we can do". I think, he thought, I was really stupid.

I spoke with Larry and requested an estimate for roofing, gutters, and siding. Larry informed me that the roofing Juranek provides is guaranteed for life. Larry related his roofing system to Cadillac comparing other roofers who use a "hammer and a nail" to a Chevy. When Larry explained that the initial cost would be higher because of the upgrade from a Chevy to a Cadillac and asked if this is something I would like to do I responded that I am also replacing my HVAC system this year and am not interested in paying Cadillac prices. Larry then proceeded to turn down my request for an estimate. I understand that many homes are in need of roof replacement this summer because of hail damage and as a business maybe he can afford to only sell Cadillacs rather than repair Chevys however, I have never experienced a company that was so quick to turn down money.

I ordered the door on October 20th from a sale that they were having at their storeroom. They advertised this sale and had a radio station there to promote the savings for coming in and ordering a door. After the door arrived, the door was installed the first week of December. The quality of the installation and the door looked great. I paid half the bill when I ordered the door, and I paid the other half a couple of days after the installation. On January 28, 2013 I received a lien notice from the door manufacturer stating that I owed them $1500.00 for the cost of the door. I called the manufacturer and they said that Juranek did not pay them, and as far as they were concerned I still owed them for the door. I called Juranek 4 times, and finally got the owner on the phone. I explained to him what happened and asked him if he paid for my door. He told me that they have not paid for the door and I should not worry about. He again told me that I didn't need to worry about the lien and that it would be taken care of, then he hung up on me. I ordered the door in October, and it took 2 months for them to get the door to me. They had half of my money from the start and they did not pay for the cost of the door. I did not receive any notice from the manufacturer about a late payment, just the lien notice that showed up in the mail today.

They were very careful in putting the window in they did a good shop cleaning up any mess that made.
