Gutter Guru

Alvin came out to give an estimate for gutter replacement on my home. The job was very large and required some changes to the design of the existing gutters since I have 3 flat roofs and downspouts which go underground and require capping and drain rerouting. Alvin noted that he could provide me an estimate within 1 week. I informed him that I was looking to have the work performed immediately just to provide urgency and expediency to this matter. It's been over 3 weeks now and I've not heard back from Alvin to date. I am giving Alvin a negative rating because he should have identified that this work was greater than his company could provide or at least provide a courtesy call/email/Angieslist messgae, stating that he wanted to withdraw from bidding due to scope or complexity of what was being requested. This to me would have been reasonable and transparent. To be on Angies list as a professional company and to drop the ball on follow up is a red flag on the professionalism of this company.
