Description of Work: I used my own cabinet maker to install, but went down to choose materials. I was told I could do the 2 finishes together then told weeks later I couldnt and it should not of been offered, there was a delay in getting it done after I chose my finishes. I was most upset they told me I could do it the way I wished then waited 3 weeks later to tell me it wouldnt work. For other work in my home I went to another place in town and had good service and everything went well.

Description of Work: Formatop manufactured new countertops for our kitchen remodel. 3 sections were needed and none fit. The best fit was 1/2 too long , the worst almost 2" too short. My contractor has informed me that of the last 8 kitchens he has done formatop did 7 and all 7 were wrong!! AVOID this company -ask your kitchen and bath designer to use someone else. The errors have delayed appliance delivery, electrical and plumbing modifications that have added at least a week to the project . JULY 27 , 2011 - today is the date promised for delivery of the 2nd set - it seems that as of 11:40 AM that the tops are not done yet. I am told they might not even be started. It takes 4 days to schedule appliances which means sjhould I have to cancel delivery the soonest I can get appliances is Monday Aug 2. This project was started July 11 and was supposed to be done last Friday the 22nd of July. I cannot begin to express my disgust atthe lack of professionalism on the part of Formatop. DO NOT HAVE COUNTERTOPS MADE BY THEM!!!!!! I will update later.
